Do I need prior graffiti experience to join the training?

Absolutely! No prior street art experience is necessary. Our training is designed to take educators from a total 'blank canvas' to feeling confident with a spray can in their hand. We focus on the fundamentals of technique and safety first, ensuring you have a solid foundation before moving on to more complex artistic concepts and classroom management strategies.

Are materials included in the training cost?

All essential materials are included in the workshop price. This covers high-quality low-pressure spray cans (easier for beginners), various nozzles, protective gloves, masks, and practice surfaces. We provide all the specialized gear so you can focus entirely on the learning process. We also provide digital resources and guides that you can take back to your school.

How do you handle health and safety during the sessions?

Safety is our absolute priority, especially in an educational context. We teach you exactly how to set up a safe workspace, the importance of proper ventilation, and how to use personal protective equipment. You'll learn how to manage a group of students safely, ensuring that the creative process remains fun and risk-free for everyone involved.

How long does the teacher training session last?

Our training sessions typically last between 2 to 4 hours, depending on the depth of the curriculum you choose. We offer intensive half-day sessions or more comprehensive full-day masterclasses. For larger teaching departments in Valencia, we can also arrange multi-day professional development blocks to ensure every staff member feels fully equipped.

What is the ideal group size for professional development?

We generally work with groups of 5 to 20 educators per session to ensure everyone gets plenty of 1-on-1 time with our professional artists. If you have a larger faculty, we can bring in additional artists or split the training into multiple sessions. Small groups allow for a much more hands-on and personalized learning experience.

Can you host the training at our specific school location?

Yes! While we have a brilliant outdoor location in Valencia, we can also bring the training directly to your school or community centre. We use specialized floor protection and can utilize outdoor play areas or sports courts to ensure your school grounds remain tidy while your staff learns the ropes of street art.

How do I book a session and what are the payment terms?

Booking is easy! Use our online booking tool to check availability or request a custom quote. Once you are happy with the plan, we'll confirm the date. The best part? There is no upfront payment required. You simply pay after the workshop is successfully completed, giving you total peace of mind and flexibility.

Culture locale

Valencia is a dream city for street art enthusiasts. From the winding alleys of El Carmen, where the walls breathe with the history of local legends like Escif and Julieta XLF, to the modern murals of the Cabanyal district, the city is a living gallery. In our training, we don't just teach you how to spray; we immerse you in the local "VLC" style. We explore the cultural significance of these Mediterranean murals and how they've shaped Valencia's identity as a global creative hub.

Fun fact: The El Carmen neighbourhood in Valencia is home to one of the highest concentrations of street art in Europe, making it the perfect "open-air classroom" for teachers seeking inspiration! 🎨
