Do the kids need any previous artistic experience?

Absolutely! No prior painting or drawing experience is needed. Our expert graffiti artists are there to guide students through every step, from the very first spray to the final highlight. Most of our summer camp participants in Zagreb have never held a spray can before they meet us, and by the end of the session, they are always amazed at the professional-looking mural they've managed to create.

Is graffiti painting safe for younger participants?

Safety is our number one priority. We provide high-quality protective gear, including masks, gloves, and overalls. We use low-pressure spray cans which are easier for younger hands to control and produce less fumes. All workshops in Zagreb are supervised by professional artists who ensure that the equipment is used correctly and that everyone stays in a well-ventilated, safe outdoor or semi-outdoor environment.

What should the campers wear to the workshop?

We recommend wearing 'messy clothes'—things you don't mind getting a little paint on. While we provide protective overalls and gloves, graffiti can be unpredictable and paint might find its way onto shoes or sleeves. It’s best to come prepared for a hands-on, creative day where getting a bit of paint on you is part of the fun! Comfortable trainers are also a must for standing at the walls.

What happens if it rains during the summer camp?

In the event of a light drizzle, we often work under cover or use gazebos. However, if the Zagreb weather really doesn't play ball, we have backup plans. We can move the session to an indoor location or use large indoor canvases. Because we have a large team of backup artists, we almost never cancel—we just adapt the setup to make sure the kids still get their creative fix.

How long does a typical graffiti session last?

A standard summer camp session usually lasts between 2 and 3 hours. This gives the group plenty of time to learn the history of street art, practice their 'tagging' and 'throwing' techniques on practice boards, and then collaborate on a final masterpiece. We find this duration is the 'sweet spot' for keeping energy levels high and focus sharp without the kids getting overtired.

Can you provide the workshop at our own camp location?

We are very flexible! We can host the workshop at one of our dedicated legal graffiti spots in Zagreb, or we can bring the entire setup to your summer camp location. Whether you have a sports field, a car park, or a large garden, we bring portable boarding and drop cloths to ensure the rest of your facility stays clean while the kids get creative.

What is included in the cost of the workshop?

Everything is included in the price! We provide the spray cans in a huge variety of vibrant colours, caps (nozzles), protective gear, professional guidance, and the surfaces to paint on. We also handle the entire setup and cleanup process. You just need to bring the energy and the participants—we take care of all the logistics and messy bits from start to finish.
