Book a graffiti workshop in Portugal

Graffitifunworld arranges graffiti and street art workshops in 10 cities across Portugal, from Lisbon to Porto. The artist travels to the location you choose, so a session can take place at an office, a school, a party venue, a festival site or a hotel meeting room.

Every booking includes spray paint, canvases or boards, protective masks and aprons, and an experienced artist who takes the group from a first sketch to a finished piece. No previous experience is needed and the format scales from a small family group to a company event of several hundred people.

Cities across Portugal we cover

We list 10 cities in Portugal. Each city page describes what a workshop there involves, the group formats that are common and how to request a date.

The urban art backdrop in Portugal

Painted walls are a familiar part of the urban landscape in Portugal, and most of the visible work sits in and around the larger cities such as Lisbon, Porto and Braga. Older industrial districts, skate parks, youth centres and railway corridors are the places where the style is easiest to spot, and municipal attitudes vary from city to city rather than being uniform across the country.

What a session in Portugal looks like

A standard session runs for about two hours. The artist opens with a short introduction to letters, cans and can control, everyone sketches a design on paper, and the group then paints on canvas, wooden boards or a wall surface agreed in advance.

Indoor and outdoor formats are both possible in Portugal. Indoors we work with low odour set ups and protective sheeting; outdoors we bring boards or frames so nothing permanent is painted without the owner's permission.

  • Groups from roughly six people up to several hundred, split into rounds where needed
  • All materials included: spray paint, surfaces, masks, gloves and aprons
  • Guidance in English, with local language support where our artist speaks it
  • Indoor, outdoor and mobile wall options depending on the venue

Popular group formats in Portugal

Most requests in Portugal fall into a handful of shapes: a company outing or team day, a school project, a children's birthday, a bachelor or bachelorette party, and live painting at a festival, fair or brand activation.

Groups often place the workshop in the middle of a longer programme, for example a city walk or museum visit in Lisbon in the morning, painting in the afternoon and dinner afterwards. Because the artist comes to you, the workshop fits around the rest of the day rather than dictating it.

Reaching venues throughout Portugal

Lisbon and Porto are the most requested starting points in Portugal, and Braga follows closely. Artists travel out from these cities to surrounding towns, so a venue outside the main urban areas is usually still workable with a little more notice. With a population of around 10,300,000, most groups in the country are within reasonable reach of one of the cities listed on this page.

Tell us the postcode or venue name when you request a quote and we will confirm availability, travel time and the best format for the space.

Questions about graffiti workshops in Portugal

Where can I do a graffiti workshop in Portugal?

We arrange workshops in 10 cities in Portugal, including Lisbon, Porto, Braga, Coimbra and Setubal. The artist travels to your own location, so the workshop takes place at the venue you choose rather than at a fixed studio.

Which cities in Portugal are easiest to book?

Lisbon, Porto and Braga see the most requests, so dates there are usually confirmed quickly. Smaller places in Portugal are also possible, they simply need a little more notice for travel.

Are graffiti workshops in Portugal suitable for companies and schools?

Yes. Company outings, team days, onboarding sessions, school projects and student events are among the most common bookings in Portugal. The briefing, the difficulty and the surface are adjusted to the age and size of the group.

Can a group combine a workshop with other activities?

Most groups do. A workshop of about two hours slots easily next to a city programme in Lisbon, a lunch, a conference block or an evening meal, because the artist and all materials come to your venue.

How far in advance should we book in Portugal?

Two to four weeks is comfortable for most dates. Peak periods such as end of year company events and school holidays fill earlier, and last minute requests in Lisbon or Porto are sometimes still possible.

What does a typical graffiti workshop involve?

A short introduction to graffiti letters and spray technique, a sketch on paper, then painting on canvas, boards or an agreed wall. Spray paint, protective gear and guidance are included, and everyone takes their own work home.
