Do I need to be good at drawing to join?

No artistic talent is required at all! Our professional graffiti artists in Liverpool are experts at guiding absolute beginners. We start with the basics of nozzle control and simple lines before moving on to more complex shapes. You'll be amazed at how quickly you can create something that looks genuinely impressive on a wall or canvas. It is all about having fun and expressing yourself!

What should I wear to the workshop?

We recommend wearing old clothes and comfortable trainers that you don't mind getting a tiny bit of paint on. While we provide high-quality protective overalls, shoe covers, and gloves, spray paint particles can sometimes find their way onto your sleeves or shoes. It is better to be safe than sorry, so leave your designer gear at home and focus on the art!

Is the spray paint safe to use?

Safety is our number one priority. We provide professional-grade protective masks, gloves, and overalls to ensure you stay clean and safe from fumes. Our workshops are typically held in well-ventilated outdoor or semi-outdoor areas in Liverpool. Our lead artists also provide a full safety briefing before anyone touches a spray can, ensuring a worry-free creative environment for everyone.

How long does the graffiti experience last?

Standard workshops usually run between 1.5 to 2.5 hours. This gives us enough time for a proper introduction, technique practice, and the creation of your final masterpiece. If you are part of a larger team-building group or a school program, we can adjust the timing to fit your schedule, ranging from a quick 1-hour taster to a full-day immersive experience.

Is there an age limit for participants?

Yes, we generally suggest a minimum age of 6 to 8 years old. This is mainly because the spray cans require a certain amount of finger strength to operate and the protective masks need to fit properly. For younger kids in Liverpool, we can often arrange alternative street art activities like "chalk graffiti" or stencil work so no one feels left out of the creative fun.

What is the maximum group size?

We are incredibly flexible! Whether you are a solo artist looking for a public workshop, a small group of friends, or a massive corporate team of 100+ people, we can accommodate you. Our network of artists in Liverpool allows us to scale the experience up or down while maintaining high energy and individual attention for every single participant in the group.

What happens if it rains?

Liverpool weather can be a bit unpredictable, but we always have a Plan B! We use various sheltered locations across the city that keep us dry while maintaining the necessary ventilation for spray painting. If the weather is truly extreme, we will work with you to reschedule or find an indoor-safe alternative using water-based paint markers or canvases. We never want the rain to dampen your spirits!

Helyi kultúra

Liverpool isn't just about The Beatles and football; it’s a living, breathing canvas of urban expression. From the world-famous murals of Mo Salah to the hidden tags tucked away in the backstreets of the Baltic Triangle, the city's creative heart beats through its street art. Our workshops tap into this local spirit, drawing inspiration from the docks, the music scene, and the legendary Liverpool wit. We often host our sessions in areas where the city’s industrial past meets its artistic future, giving you a truly authentic Scouse experience.

Fun Fact: Liverpool is home to some of the UK's most impressive large-scale murals, including the famous 'Liverpool Wings' in the Baltic Triangle, which has become one of the most Instagrammed spots in the North West! 📸
