Do I need previous experience with graffiti to attend?

No prior experience with spray paint is necessary! Our Nantes training is designed specifically for art teachers who may be experts in traditional media but are new to the world of aerosols. We start with the absolute basics—how to hold the can, nozzle types, and pressure control—before moving into complex mural techniques. By the end of the session, you'll feel confident teaching these skills to your own students.

What materials are included in the teacher training?

We provide everything you need to get creative. This includes high-quality spray cans in a wide variety of colours, different types of 'caps' (nozzles) for various effects, protective overalls, gloves, and professional-grade masks. We also provide the practice surfaces and design templates. You just need to show up in comfortable clothes and shoes that you don't mind getting a little bit of 'art' on!

Is the training safe for a school environment?

Safety is our number one priority, especially when you are planning to take these skills back to a classroom. We use low-pressure cans that are easier to control and provide high-quality respiratory protection. During the workshop, we provide a full health and safety briefing that covers ventilation, skin protection, and proper storage of materials, ensuring you can run a safe workshop at your school.

Will I learn how to manage a classroom during a graffiti session?

Absolutely. We don't just teach you how to paint; we teach you how to teach. Our Nantes-based artists will share proven pedagogical methods for managing a classroom full of students with spray cans. You'll learn how to structure a lesson, how to manage group murals without the chaos, and how to help students find their own 'tag' style while maintaining order and safety.

How much does the training cost and how do I pay?

We understand that school budgets and schedules can be tight. Our Nantes training is priced between €30 and €65 per person, depending on the size of your staff group and the depth of the training required. The best part? There is no upfront payment required. You only pay after the workshop is completed, ensuring you are 100% satisfied with the professional development provided.

How long does the session last and where is it held?

The standard professional development session lasts between 1.5 to 3 hours. However, we are very flexible! If you want a more intensive deep-dive into street art history and advanced muralism, we can extend the session. We can host the training at one of our vibrant local spots in Nantes or come directly to your school or studio if you have a suitable outdoor space.
