Is the graffiti workshop safe for primary school children?

For primary school students in Berlin, safety is our absolute priority. We provide high-quality, lightweight spray cans that are easier for smaller hands to grip. Every child is equipped with a high-grade FFP3 respirator mask, disposable gloves, and a protective suit. Our instructors are professional artists who have extensive experience working with children, ensuring everyone follows safety protocols while having the time of their lives.

What is the minimum and maximum group size?

Ideally, groups should have at least 10 children to make the workshop cost-effective and fun. We can accommodate very large groups of up to 100+ students by bringing in a team of backup artists. In Berlin, we often split larger classes into smaller rotating squads so that every child gets plenty of individual attention and time with the spray cans.

How long does a typical school workshop last?

We usually recommend a duration of 1.5 to 2 hours for primary school students in Berlin. This timeframe is the 'sweet spot' for maintaining high energy levels and concentration. We start with a quick intro and sketch session, followed by the main painting event. If you need a longer session integrated into a full school day, we can customise the schedule.

What should the children wear for the workshop?

We use premium, low-odour professional spray paint. While we provide full protective body suits, we always recommend that students wear 'old clothes' and trainers they don't mind getting a few spots of paint on. Berlin's creative spirit can be messy, and even with suits, there is always a small risk of a stray paint mist reaching shoes or sleeves!

What happens if it rains on the day of our Berlin workshop?

Berlin weather can be unpredictable, but we always have a plan. We can work at various legal street art walls with bridge coverings, or we can bring the workshop to your school gym or hall. We use special floor coverings and protective plastic sheeting to ensure your school premises stay clean while the kids get creative on canvases or boards.

Do we need to pay in advance?

No, you don't need to pay anything upfront! We believe in the quality of our service, so we operate on a 'pay after the workshop' basis. Once the kids have finished their masterpieces and the site is cleared, we will send an invoice. This makes the administrative process much easier for Berlin schools and parent associations.

Do the children need previous art experience?

Not at all! Our workshops are designed for complete beginners. Our Berlin-based artists are experts at breaking down complex street art techniques into simple, manageable steps. We focus on building confidence and encouraging self-expression. By the end of the session, even the shyest children are usually amazed at what they managed to create on the wall.

Initial consultation: We chat about your school's goals, group size, and preferred location in Berlin.
Themed brainstorming: Students work with our artists to pick a theme, like 'friendship' or 'nature', for their mural.
Sketching session: Before touching a spray can, the children learn to draw their ideas on paper.
Safety briefing: We suit up! Each child gets a mask, gloves, and suit while learning the 'do's and don'ts'.
Nozzle technique: Our artists demonstrate how to control the spray can to create thin lines and big fills.
Outline and fill: The students move to the wall or canvas to start bringing their sketches to life.
Final touches: We help the kids add highlights and sharp outlines to make their artwork pop.
Photo session: We capture the proud moment as the class stands in front of their finished Berlin street art.
Site cleanup: We ensure everything is left tidy, leaving only the beautiful artwork behind.
