Do the participants need any previous art experience?

Absolutely! No prior experience is needed for our youth projects. Our professional artists are expert mentors who break down complex techniques into easy, manageable steps. We start with the basics of can control and safety, ensuring every participant feels confident before they start their masterpiece. It is all about discovery, experimentation, and having a blast while learning a new skill in a supportive environment.

Is the graffiti workshop safe for teenagers?

Safety is our absolute priority. We provide high-quality respiratory masks, gloves, and protective suits to keep everyone safe and clean. Our spray paints are low-odour and we always work in well-ventilated outdoor areas or specially designated legal graffiti zones in Munich. Our instructors are trained to supervise groups closely, ensuring that the cans are used responsibly and the environment remains a positive, secure space for creativity.

How long does a typical youth project session last?

A standard youth project workshop typically lasts between 2 and 3 hours. This gives us enough time for a safety briefing, a demonstration of techniques, individual practice, and the final creation of a large-scale mural or individual canvases. If you have a specific schedule or a full-day youth programme in mind, we can easily adapt the duration to fit your event's needs.

Where in Munich do these workshops take place?

We are incredibly flexible and can bring the workshop to your location in Munich! Whether it is a youth centre, a school playground, or a local community park, we just need a well-ventilated space and permission to paint. If you do not have a venue, don't worry—we have access to several awesome legal 'Hall of Fame' spots across the city where we can host the session.

What materials are included in the workshop price?

We provide everything! Your booking includes all premium spray paint cans in a wide variety of colours, caps (nozzles) for different effects, protective gear (suits, masks, gloves), and the 'canvas' (whether that is a wall, large boards, or individual canvases). We even handle the setup and the cleanup afterwards, so you can focus entirely on the creative experience without any logistical stress.

What is the recommended age for these youth projects?

Our workshops are perfect for teenagers and young adults, typically from age 10 and up. Graffiti is a fantastic medium for this age group because it is physical, expressive, and 'cool' in a way that traditional art classes sometimes aren't. We tailor our coaching style to match the energy and maturity of the group, ensuring everyone from pre-teens to older adolescents stays engaged and inspired.

What happens if it rains on the day of our Munich workshop?

Munich weather can be unpredictable, but we've got you covered. If the forecast looks rainy, we can often move the project to a covered outdoor area or an indoor space with proper ventilation using water-based paints. Alternatively, we can reschedule the session to a better day. We always keep a close eye on the weather and stay in touch to ensure the project goes ahead smoothly.

Intro & Gear Up: We start with a high-energy intro, hand out the protective suits, masks, and gloves to make everyone look and feel like a pro.
Sketching the Vision: Participants brainstorm themes and learn how to translate their ideas from a small sketch to a large-format design.
Mastering the Can: Our artists demonstrate essential techniques, from 'fat caps' for filling to 'skinny caps' for those sharp outlines.
Practice Makes Perfect: Everyone gets a chance to practice 'first lines' and pressure control on a practice wall to build up the muscle memory.
The Big Piece: The group starts on the main project, layering colours and textures under the expert guidance of our Munich street artists.
Adding the Details: This is where the magic happens! We add highlights, 3D effects, and 'force fields' to make the artwork pop off the wall.
The Big Reveal & Photos: We step back to admire the finished masterpiece and take epic group photos to document the achievement!

Místní kultura

Munich might be famous for its historic architecture and beer gardens, but it also boasts one of the most vibrant and historically significant street art scenes in Germany. From the legendary Hall of Fame at the Alter Viehhof to the colourful murals decorating the Schlachthof district, the city is a playground for urban expression. We draw inspiration from the local "Münchner Freiheit" spirit, encouraging youth to contribute to the city's evolving visual culture in a positive and legal way.

Fun Munich Fact: Did you know that Munich was home to some of the very first graffiti "Who's Who" in Europe during the 1980s? The city has a deep-rooted history in the movement, making it the perfect place for young people to learn the craft! 🎨

Ceny

Our graffiti youth projects are priced to be accessible for community organisations and youth groups. Prices typically range from €30 to €65 per person, depending on the number of participants, the duration of the workshop, and whether we are painting a permanent wall or individual canvases.

Because every project is unique, we love to create a plan that fits your specific budget and goals. ✨
