What is the minimum age for the workshops in Murcia?

Our Murcia after-school workshops are designed for ages 8 and up. We adjust our teaching style and the complexity of the designs based on the age group. Whether they are primary school pupils exploring textures or teenagers wanting to master complex 'wildstyle' lettering, our professional artist-mentors ensure everyone feels challenged and successful. Safety is our priority, so we use age-appropriate gear for all participants.

Do the students need to bring their own spray paint?

We supply everything! Each student gets access to a wide range of professional-grade spray cans in vibrant colours, protective gloves, masks, and overalls to keep their school clothes clean. We also provide the canvases or practice boards. You just need to show up in comfortable clothes that you don't mind getting a tiny bit of dust on, and we handle the rest of the logistics.

Is it safe for children to use spray cans?

Safety is our absolute number one priority. We use low-pressure spray cans which are easier to control and high-quality protective respiratory masks. Our instructors are experienced professionals who provide a comprehensive safety briefing before anyone touches a can. We conduct our sessions in well-ventilated outdoor or semi-outdoor spaces in Murcia to ensure a healthy and secure environment for every young artist.

What if the kids have no artistic experience?

Not at all! Our workshops are built for absolute beginners. We start with the basics of 'can control'—how to hold the can, how to modulate pressure, and how to draw a straight line. Our artists guide the students step-by-step from a blank wall to a finished masterpiece. It’s amazing to see how quickly kids in Murcia pick up the skills and gain confidence.

What should students wear to the session?

While we provide protective overalls and gloves, we always recommend that students wear 'work clothes' or older trainers. Graffiti is a physical, hands-on activity, and while our masks and suits do a great job, a stray drop of paint can occasionally find its way onto a shoe. It's better to be safe and comfortable so the kids can focus entirely on their creativity.

Where in Murcia do the workshops take place?

We are very flexible! We can host the workshops at your school premises if there is a suitable outdoor wall or space. Alternatively, we have several creative 'street spots' around Murcia where urban art is celebrated. If the weather turns, we have backup plans and indoor-friendly options to ensure the creative flow doesn't stop. We'll coordinate with you to find the perfect Murcia location.

How long does a typical afternoon session last?

A standard after-school workshop usually lasts between 1.5 and 2.5 hours. This gives us enough time for a proper introduction, a safety briefing, technique practice, and the final creation of a group or individual piece. We can adapt the timing to fit into your school’s specific extracurricular timetable or special afternoon events. We're all about making it work for your schedule.

Schritt für Schritt

The Arrival & Briefing: We kick things off with a high-energy intro to the world of graffiti and a vital safety briefing.
Sketching Your Ideas: Students grab paper and pencils to brainstorm their tags and designs, learning about letter flow and structure.
Mastering Can Control: Before hitting the wall, we teach the 'nozzle basics'—how to create thin lines, fat fills, and cool fades.
The Outline: It's time to go big! Students transfer their sketches onto the canvas or wall using light 'ghost' lines.
Filling with Colour: This is where the magic happens as the group adds vibrant layers and gradients to their artwork.
The Power of the Outline: We teach how to 'cut' the lines and add sharp borders to make the graffiti pop off the wall.
Highlights & Details: Adding those final touches like 'shines' and 'bubbles' to give the piece a professional 3D look.
The Grand Reveal & Photos: We finish by admiring the collective Masterpiece and taking group photos for the school gallery!
