Do I need any prior art experience to participate?

Absolutely not! Our anti-vandalism program in Palma de Mallorca is specifically designed for beginners of all ages. Our professional artists will guide you through every step, from holding the spray can correctly to mastering complex shading techniques. We focus on the fun and the fundamentals of street art, ensuring everyone leaves with a piece of art they are proud of and a new appreciation for the craft.

What materials are included in the workshop?

We provide all the necessary professional equipment for your workshop. This includes a wide range of high-quality spray cans in various colours, protective gloves, masks, and overall suits to keep your clothes clean. We also provide the canvases or designated wall space where you will be creating your masterpiece. Just bring your enthusiasm and wear some comfortable 'old' shoes just in case!

What is the difference between graffiti art and vandalism?

While some people view any spray paint as vandalism, our program teaches the vital distinction. Traditional vandalism is done without permission and often defaces property. Our workshops take place in legal, designated areas or on private canvases. We teach the history of the movement and the 'graffiti code', emphasizing that true artists respect their community and seek legal outlets for their creativity.

Is the spray paint safe to use for long periods?

Safety is our number one priority. We provide high-quality FFP2 or FFP3 masks to filter out fumes, and we always conduct our workshops in well-ventilated outdoor spaces or large, airy indoor venues. Our instructors are trained in safety protocols and will supervise the group at all times to ensure the spray cans are used responsibly and everyone stays protected throughout the session.

Can you host the workshop at our specific location in Palma?

Yes, we can! While we have several 'graffiti hotspots' in Palma where we regularly host workshops, our team is mobile. If you have a private wall or a specific location in mind for a school or company event, we can bring the workshop to you. We'll just need to check the suitability of the space beforehand to ensure it meets our safety and ventilation requirements.

How long does a typical graffiti session last?

A standard anti-vandalism graffiti experience usually lasts between 1.5 to 3 hours. This gives us enough time for a safety briefing, a demonstration of techniques, individual practice, and the final creation of a large-scale group mural or individual pieces. If you have a specific schedule to stick to, we can often tailor the duration to fit your needs perfectly.

How does the payment process work?

No upfront payment is required when you book with Graffitifun. We believe in the quality of our service, so you can pay after the workshop is completed. This ensures you are 100% satisfied with the experience before reaching for your wallet. We accept various payment methods and will provide all the details during the easy booking process. Fun is guaranteed, and your peace of mind is too!

Das Erlebnis

Why choose an anti-vandalism street art program in the capital of the Balearics? It’s simple: we turn a potential nuisance into a lifelong passion. Here’s why our Palma sessions are a hit:

Channel Energy: We provide a productive, legal outlet for creative expression that discourages illegal tagging. ✨
Professional Mentorship: Learn from real artists who’ve painted all over Europe and know the 'code' of the streets.
Community Pride: Participants learn that creating something beautiful for the community is more rewarding than defacing it. 🏆
Skill Building: From fine motor skills to large-scale planning, graffiti is a workout for the brain and the body.
Zero Risk, High Reward: No upfront payments and a 100% satisfaction guarantee means you can book with total confidence. 🔥

Schritt für Schritt

Intro & History: We start with a cool chat about the origins of street art and the importance of legal painting.
Safety First: Put on your protective gear (suits, gloves, and masks) while we explain how to use the equipment safely.
First Lines: Learn the basics of 'can control'—how to hold the spray, adjust pressure, and draw a clean line.
Developing Style: Move on to more advanced techniques like fading, shadows, and 'cuts' to make your art pop.
The Sketch: Plan your design on paper or directly on the surface using a light 'ghost' layer.
Fill & Flow: Use vibrant colours to fill in your shapes, learning how to blend shades for a 3D effect.
Outlining: Trace your design with a steady hand to give it that professional, sharp graffiti finish.
Creative Flair: Add the final 'highlights' and 'bits'—those little details that make a piece truly unique.
Group Review: Stand back and admire your work with the group, taking photos of your temporary street art masterpiece!

Lokale Kultur

Palma isn't just about the stunning Cathedral and golden beaches; it's home to a vibrant urban landscape. While the historic Casco Antiguo is carefully preserved, areas around Santa Catalina and the city’s industrial outskirts have become a canvas for local talents. Our anti-vandalism program works in harmony with the city's aesthetic, emphasizing that street art can enhance a community rather than detract from it.

Fun Fact: Did you know that Palma has several 'Zonas de Graffiti Legal'? These are spots where the local government encourages artists to paint freely, helping to keep the historic city walls clean while still supporting the local art scene! 🏛️
