What materials are included in the Glasgow graffiti workshop?

For our outdoor party workshops in Glasgow, we provide everything you need to create a masterpiece. This includes a wide range of premium spray paint colours, high-quality caps for different line widths, protective overalls, gloves, and professional masks. We also provide the surfaces or canvases you'll be painting on. You just need to show up in some comfortable clothes and shoes that you don't mind getting a little bit of dust on!

What happens if it rains during our outdoor party?

We are used to the Glasgow 'weather'! If the forecast looks particularly Scottish, we have several options. We can use sheltered outdoor spots, or if the wind is too high, we can relocate to one of our indoor studio partners. We always have a backup plan ready to ensure your party goes ahead regardless of the drizzle, so you can book with total confidence.

Do we need any prior art experience to enjoy the session?

Not at all! Our workshops are designed for everyone, from total beginners who have never touched a spray can to closet artists. Our professional Glasgow graffiti artists will guide you through the basics, from 'can control' to 'fading' and 'outlining'. By the end of the session, you'll be amazed at the vibrant piece of art you've managed to create together.

Is the workshop safe for everyone involved?

Safety is our top priority. We provide professional-grade protective gear, including FFP2/FFP3 masks and gloves. Our instructors are highly experienced and will give a full safety briefing before any paint is sprayed. Because we host these sessions outdoors in Glasgow, there is plenty of natural ventilation. It is a very safe, controlled environment where the only thing you need to worry about is having fun.

How long does a typical graffiti party session last?

Generally, our outdoor party sessions last between 1.5 to 3 hours. This gives us enough time for the introduction, a practice session on the boards, and then the final creation of your large group mural or individual pieces. We find this is the perfect 'sweet spot' to keep the energy high and the creativity flowing without anyone getting tired. Plus, it leaves plenty of time for Glasgow's nightlife afterwards!

Can we take our artwork home with us?

Absolutely! While we love creating large group murals, we can also set up the session so that every participant gets to take home their own smaller canvas. This is a very popular choice for birthday parties or events where people want a physical souvenir of their day in Glasgow. Just let us know your preference when you book so we can prepare the right materials.

What is the minimum and maximum group size?

We are quite flexible! Our outdoor graffiti workshops in Glasgow typically require a minimum of 5 to 8 people to get a great atmosphere going. For larger parties, we can accommodate groups of up to 50 or more by bringing in additional artists and setting up multiple painting stations. Whether it's an intimate birthday or a massive celebration, we have the kit and the crew to handle it.

Lokale Kultur

Glasgow is a city that wears its heart on its sleeve—and its art on its walls. From the world-renowned 'City Centre Mural Trail' featuring photorealistic giants to the hidden 'tags' in the West End, the Dear Green Place is a sanctuary for urban expression. We host our workshops in areas that reflect this raw energy, often near iconic spots where the city's industrial past meets its modern, artistic soul.

Fun fact: Glasgow is home to some of the most famous street murals in the UK, including the legendary "Saint Mungo" mural on High Street. Our workshops are inspired by this same spirit of storytelling through paint! 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

Our Glasgow based artists are part of the local scene, meaning you’re not just getting a teacher—you’re getting a guide into the heart of the city's subculture. Whether we're painting near the Clyde or in a hidden urban nook, the atmosphere is always pure 'Banter'.
