Where in Charleroi does the graffiti workshop take place?

Most of our Charleroi birthday parties take place at dedicated outdoor graffiti zones or legal 'Hall of Fame' walls. This provides an authentic street art experience. However, if you have a private garden or a well-ventilated indoor space with permission, we can often come to you! We always ensure the location is safe, accessible, and ready for some serious spray painting action. We can help you pick the perfect spot during the booking process.

Is it safe for children to use spray cans?

Safety is our number one priority. We provide high-quality protective overalls, gloves, and specialised masks for every child. Our professional artists supervise the group at all times, teaching proper spray can techniques and distance. The paints we use are standard street art aerosols, so we always work in well-ventilated outdoor areas to ensure everyone breathes easy while they focus on their creative masterpieces.

What is the minimum age for a graffiti party?

We recommend our graffiti birthday parties for children aged 6 and up. At this age, they usually have the motor skills to press the spray nozzles and follow the artistic instructions. We tailor our teaching style to the specific age group, ensuring the younger ones get more hands-on help while the older kids and teens get more freedom to experiment with complex shading and 'wildstyle' lettering.

What should the children wear to the workshop?

Expect your kids to come home with a massive smile, but hopefully clean clothes! We provide protective gear, but we always suggest that guests wear 'work clothes'—old trainers and outfits that parents won't mind getting a tiny speck of paint on. You know how it is: when creativity flows, sometimes a little paint finds its way onto a sleeve! It’s all part of the authentic artist experience.

Do the children need to be good at drawing?

Not at all! Our workshops are designed for absolute beginners. Our professional graffiti artists are experts at breaking down complex street art techniques into simple, easy-to-follow steps. We start with basic lines and shapes before moving on to filling and outlining. By the end of the session, every child will have created something they are proud of, regardless of their previous artistic experience.

How long does the graffiti birthday party last?

A standard birthday workshop usually lasts about 1.5 to 2 hours. This provides the perfect balance of learning time, practice, and the creation of the final artwork without the kids losing focus. If you have a larger group or want a more in-depth experience, we can extend the duration. We find this timeframe works perfectly to keep the energy high from the first shake of the can to the final photo!

How do I pay for the birthday party?

We believe in the quality of our events, which is why we don't require any upfront payment. You can book your date with confidence, and payment is only handled after the workshop is completed. This ensures you are 100% satisfied with the experience we've provided for your child's special day. It’s our 'fun guaranteed' promise to the parents of Charleroi!

Lokale Kultur

Charleroi has undergone an incredible transformation, evolving from its industrial roots into a vibrant hub for urban culture. From the iconic murals along the Quais de Sambre to the creative energy of the Rockherill, the city is breathing street art! Our workshops tap into this local spirit, giving Charleroi’s youth a chance to contribute to the city's evolving visual landscape. We love the gritty, authentic feel of the local 'Hall of Fame' spots where the next generation of Carolos can express themselves freely.

Fun Fact: Did you know Charleroi is often called the "street art capital" of Wallonia? Its 'Urban Dream' project has turned old industrial buildings into some of the largest legal graffiti canvases in Europe!
