Do I need to be artistic to join a graffiti workshop?

Absolutely not! Our workshops are designed for everyone, from those who can't draw a stick figure to seasoned creatives. Our professional artists lead you through every step, starting with basic lines and shapes. You’ll be amazed at how quickly you can create something impressive under our guidance. It’s all about letting go of perfectionism and having a blast with the spray cans!

What materials are included in the session?

We provide high-quality spray paint, protective overalls, gloves, and respiratory masks to keep you clean and safe. Depending on the package, we also provide canvases or large boards to paint on. All you need to bring is your enthusiasm and a pair of old shoes you don't mind getting a little dusty. We handle all the prep and the cleanup afterwards!

Is the spray paint safe to use?

Safety is our top priority. We use low-odour spray paint where possible and provide professional-grade protective gear, including masks and gloves. Our workshops are held in well-ventilated areas or outdoors. Our experienced instructors supervise the entire process to ensure everyone uses the equipment correctly. People with respiratory issues should consult us beforehand so we can take extra precautions.

Can children participate in the graffiti experience?

Yes, we love hosting young artists! We have specially designed workshops for kids' parties and schools in Leuven. For public sessions, we generally recommend a minimum age of 8 to ensure they have the physical strength to press the spray nozzles and follow safety instructions. It’s a fantastic way for children to develop motor skills and express their unique personality through art.

What happens if it rains on the day of my workshop?

Leuven’s weather can be unpredictable, but we’ve got you covered! If we are painting outdoors and it rains, we usually move to a sheltered location or use one of our indoor backup spots. Because we have multiple artists and venues available, we rarely have to cancel. If the weather is truly extreme, we’ll work with you to reschedule for a better day.

How much does a graffiti workshop in Leuven cost?

The price depends on your group size and the specific setup you choose. Generally, prices range between €25 and €55 per person. Larger groups often enjoy a lower price per head. We believe in transparency, so there are no hidden fees. The best part? You don't have to pay upfront! You can pay after the workshop is complete and you're 100% satisfied.

How long does a typical session last?

A standard public art session usually lasts between 1.5 and 3 hours. This gives us enough time for a proper introduction, technique practice, and the final creation of your masterpiece. If you are looking for a more intensive masterclass or a quick team-building 'teaser', we can adjust the duration to fit your schedule perfectly. Just let us know your preferences when booking!

The basics of flow: Learn how to hold the spray can, control the pressure, and create different line thicknesses.
Sketching your vision: Start by mapping out your design on the canvas or wall using light 'phantom' lines.
Filling in the soul: Use bold colours to fill your shapes, learning how to blend and fade like a pro.
The power of the outline: Add those sharp, defining edges that make graffiti pop off the surface.
Adding the 'extra': Learn tricks like drips, highlights, and shadows to give your piece 3D depth.
