How long does a typical team development workshop last?

For our team development sessions in Liege, we recommend a duration of 2 to 2.5 hours. This allows enough time for the intro, brainstorming your team's concept, and the actual spray painting. If you are on a tight schedule, we can condense it to 90 minutes, or if you want a deep dive into technique, we can extend it to 3 hours with ease.

Where in Liege do the workshops take place?

While Liege has some great legal spots, we usually bring the workshop to you! We provide mobile plastic walls or canvases that can be set up at your office car park, a hired event space, or even indoors if the ventilation is high-spec. We handle all the protective floor covering and cleanup, so your venue remains exactly as we found it.

Can we create individual artworks instead of a group mural?

Absolutely! While many groups choose to work on a large collective mural to symbolise 'one team', we can also set up individual canvases. This allows everyone to create their own masterpiece while still sharing the creative energy of the group. Often, a mix of both works best—starting individual and finishing on a large collaborative project that represents your company's mission.

Do we need any prior artistic skills to participate?

Zero experience is required! Our professional artists are experts at guiding 'non-creatives' through the process. We start with the absolute basics of can control and safety. You will be amazed at how quickly your team goes from 'I can't draw' to creating a vibrant, professional-looking piece of street art. It is all about the process and having a blast together.

What should we wear and do you provide protective gear?

Safety and cleanliness are our priorities. We provide high-quality overalls, gloves, and professional-grade masks for every participant. While we take every precaution to protect your clothes with our gear, we always recommend that you wear comfortable shoes and older clothing underneath, just in case a stray bit of paint finds its way onto your trainers! Building a team should be messy fun, not a laundry disaster.

What happens if the weather in Liege is bad on the day?

Liege weather can be unpredictable! If your session is planned outdoors and it looks like rain, we can often move to a covered area or use a ventilated indoor space. Because we have a large team of backup artists and flexible setups, we can usually adapt the plan at the last minute to ensure your team building event goes ahead without a hitch.

Can we keep the artwork we create during the session?

The best part is that you get to keep the art! If you create a collective mural on wood or canvas, it makes a fantastic addition to your office decor in Liege, serving as a constant reminder of what your team can achieve together. We can also help arrange transport for the finished pieces back to your headquarters once the paint is dry.

The experience

Choosing a graffiti workshop for your team development in Liege isn't just about painting walls; it's about building bridges between departments and boosting morale in a way that sticks. Here is why it works:

Breaks the Hierarchy: When everyone is wearing an overall and holding a spray can, titles disappear. It’s the ultimate leveller! 🏆
Enhances Communication: You can't paint a giant mural without talking, planning, and listening to each other.
Fosters Innovation: Graffiti requires 'outside the box' thinking, helping your team approach problems with a fresh, creative perspective. 💪
Tangible Results: At the end of the day, you have a physical piece of art that represents your team's hard work and unity.
Stress Relief: There is something incredibly therapeutic about the 'shhh' of a spray can—it's the perfect way to decompress! 🎉
Professional Guidance: Our Liege-based artists ensure your team feels supported and confident from the first spray to the final masterpiece.

Step by step

The Creative Briefing: We start with a high-energy intro where our pro artists share the secrets of the Liege street art scene and explain the plan for the day.
Design Thinking: Your team brainstorms concepts, slogans, or visuals that represent your company values or specific project goals.
Can Mastery 101: Before hitting the big wall, everyone learns the essential techniques: how to hold the can, control the pressure, and create Different line widths.
Sketching the Vision: We help you scale up your ideas, sketching the outline of your masterpiece onto the canvases or mobile walls.
Layering and Colouring: This is where the magic happens! The team works together to fill in the designs, learning about colour theory and shading as they go.
The Professional Finish: Our artists help you add those sharp outlines and 'highlights' that make the artwork pop and look like a pro job.
The Big Reveal: We conclude with a 'gallery walk' where the team presents their work, discussing the symbolism and the collaborative process.

Creative collaboration during a graffiti company outing

Local culture

Liege is a city that isn't afraid to show its true colours. From the rugged industrial charm of the Meuse riverbanks to the hidden gems in the Outremeuse district, the 'Cité Ardente' (Ardent City) has a creative soul that perfectly matches the energy of a graffiti workshop. The local street art scene here is growing, with murals that reflect the city's resilient and fiery personality. 🎨

Fun Fact: Did you know Liege is nicknamed the 'Ardent City'? This fiery reputation isn't just about its history; it's about the passion of its people. We bring that same 'ardent' energy to every workshop we host here! 🔥

Whether you are based near the futuristic Guillemins station or in the heart of the historic centre, we bring the artistic vibes of Liege directly to your team building event. We also offer workshops in cities like Brussels, Antwerp, Ghent, and Charleroi.
