How long does a typical graffiti workshop last?

A standard team development session lasts between 2 and 2.5 hours. This provides enough time for a thorough introduction, technique practice, and the creation of a large-scale collaborative masterpiece. If you have a tighter schedule or want a more intensive 'Deep Dive' session, we can easily customise the duration to fit your corporate itinerary. We are flexible to your needs!

Can we include our company logo or specific themes?

Absolutely! One of our most popular workshop formats involves the team working together to create a massive mural that features your company values, a new product name, or your corporate logo. It’s a powerful way to visually represent your team's identity. You can even take the finished canvases back to the office to brighten up your workspace and serve as a lasting reminder.

Do we need to pay in advance for the booking?

We believe in the quality of our experience so much that we don't require upfront payments. You can book your date and confirm your workshop, and payment is handled after the event. This ensures you are 100% satisfied with the creative results and the team-building impact before the administrative side is finalised. It's all about trust and professional service.

How does graffiti actually help with team development?/h3>

Graffiti requires communication, shared vision, and physical coordination. Unlike a standard dinner or escape room, a graffiti workshop results in a large, tangible piece of art that didn't exist before. The process of 'layering' and 'filling' requires teams to negotiate space and roles, mirroring project management in a fun, low-stress environment. It breaks down hierarchies and encourages 'out-of-the-box' thinking.

The experience

Why choose a graffiti workshop for your next team outing in Rotterdam? Because it’s the ultimate equaliser. In the street art world, there are no job titles—just artists and their vision. Here’s why it works:

🚀 Break through creative blocks: Pushing people out of their comfort zones with an unconventional medium sparks fresh ideas.
🤝 Real-time collaboration: You can't paint a giant mural alone; it requires constant communication and 'layering' of ideas.
🎨 Visualise your values: Turn abstract company goals into a tangible, colourful piece of art you can actually see.
⚡ High-energy environment: No more sleepy PowerPoint presentations—this is hands-on, active, and totally immersive.
🏆 Take the memory home: Create something permanent that can hang in your office as a reminder of what you can achieve together.

Step by step

The warm-up: We start with a high-energy intro where you learn about the history of street art and the 'rules' of the spray can.
Safety first: Get suited up in your protective gear and learn how to use the professional masks and nozzles safely.
Tagging techniques: Everyone gets their own practice wall space to master basic lines, dots, and the 'fading' technique.
The big concept: Your team brainstorms the central theme or 'piece'—will it be the company logo or a shared vision?
Sketching the mural: Under the guidance of our pros, we sketch the foundations of your masterpiece onto the wall or large canvases.
The fill-in: This is where the teamwork kicks in! Everyone takes a section, coordinating colours and styles to ensure a unified look.
Outlining and highlights: Add the final 'pop' to your art with sharp outlines and highlights that make the mural jump off the wall.
The big reveal: Step back, drop the cans, and admire the massive collective work of art your team created from scratch.
Photo session: We capture high-quality group photos of your team with their work—perfect for the company newsletter or LinkedIn!

Creative collaboration during a graffiti company outing

Local culture

Rotterdam isn’t just a city; it’s a living gallery. From the iconic murals in the Schiedamse Quarter to the raw energy of the M4H district, this city breathes urban creativity. It rebuilt itself with bold architecture and even bolder art, making it the perfect backdrop for a team that wants to reinvent itself. Our workshops often take place near the legendary 'Hofbogen' or at designated street art hotspots where the air is thick with inspiration.

Fun fact: Rotterdam is home to the 'Make It Happen' brand spirit, and nothing says 'making it happen' quite like transforming a blank 20-metre wall into a vibrant masterpiece with your colleagues!

Beyond our creative sessions, we also operate in nearby hubs like Amsterdam, The Hague, Utrecht, and Eindhoven. No matter where your office is located in the Randstad, we bring the paint to you!
