Do I need any previous art experience to join?

Absolutely! Our school holiday workshops are designed specifically for beginners. Our professional street artists will guide you through every step, from holding the spray can correctly to mastering advanced shading techniques. You don't need any prior drawing skills to walk away with a piece of art you're proud of. It’s all about having fun and being creative in a relaxed, supportive environment.🎨

What should I wear to the workshop?

We recommend wearing old clothes and shoes that you don't mind getting a bit of paint on. While we provide high-quality protective overalls and gloves, graffiti can sometimes be a bit messy, and spray mist can travel! Think 'comfy clothes' rather than your best designer gear. Once you're suited up, you'll be ready to paint like a pro without worrying about your outfit.✨

Is the spray paint safe to use?

Safety is our top priority. We provide all necessary protective gear, including professional-grade masks to ensure you aren't breathing in fumes, and gloves to keep your hands clean. Our workshops are held in well-ventilated areas, often outdoors at legal street art spots. Our artists are highly experienced in managing groups safely, ensuring a worry-free experience for everyone involved.🛡️

How long does a typical session last?

Our standard school holiday workshops in Rotterdam usually last between 1.5 to 2 hours. This gives us enough time to go over the basics, practice some techniques, and complete a final masterpiece. If you're looking for a more intensive experience, we can often extend the session—just let us know what you're looking for when you book!⏱️

What is the minimum age for participants?

The school holiday workshops are generally open to ages 6 and up. We use different materials and techniques suited to different age groups to ensure everyone has a blast. For younger children, we focus on fun shapes and bright colours, while teenagers can dive deeper into the technical aspects of letter-forming and 'wildstyle' graffiti. It's a great family activity too!👨👩👧👦

Where exactly in Rotterdam do the workshops take place?

Rotterdam is famous for its 'Maaskade' and 'Hofbogen' areas, but our workshops usually take place at designated legal graffiti walls (Hall of Fame) or a private studio location. Once you book, we’ll provide the exact meeting point details. We choose spots that are easily accessible by public transport and offer the perfect gritty, urban backdrop for your creative session.📍

What happens if I need to change my booking?

We understand that plans can change during the holidays! Because we have a large team of backup artists, we are very flexible. Unlike smaller providers, we rarely have to cancel. If you need to reschedule or change your group size, just get in touch as soon as possible, and we’ll do our best to accommodate your needs without any stress.🙌
