Do I need any previous art experience to join the pop-up?

Absolutely! Our Rotterdam pop-up workshops are designed specifically for beginners. Our professional street artists will guide you through every step, from holding the spray can correctly to mastering complex layering techniques. You don't need any prior drawing skills or artistic background to create something you'll be proud of. We focus on fun and expression, ensuring everyone leaves with a smile and a masterpiece.

What materials are included in the workshop?

We provide everything you need for a complete street art experience. This includes high-quality spray paint in a vast array of colours, protective overalls, gloves, and masks to keep your clothes clean. We also provide the canvases or boards you'll be painting on. Just bring your enthusiasm and wear some comfortable shoes that you don't mind getting a tiny bit of dust on!

Is the spray paint safe to use?

Safety is our number one priority. We provide FFP2 or FFP3 grade masks to ensure you aren't breathing in paint fumes, along with gloves and protective suits. Our artists also give a comprehensive safety briefing before anyone touches a spray can. Because we host these in well-ventilated pop-up locations across Rotterdam, you can enjoy the creative process with total peace of mind.

Are the pop-up events suitable for children?

Yes! We love hosting younger artists. For our pop-up events in Rotterdam, we generally recommend a minimum age of 6 or 7 years old so they can comfortably handle the spray cans. It’s a fantastic way for kids to develop their motor skills and express their creativity in a bold, oversized format. We always ensure a high ratio of instructors to children for safety.

How long does a typical graffiti session last?

Our standard pop-up workshops usually last between 1.5 and 2 hours. This gives us enough time for a brief history of graffiti, a demonstration of techniques, practice time, and the creation of your final piece. If you are booking a private group pop-up for a brand activation or large party, we can adjust the timing to fit your specific schedule.

What happens if I need to cancel or change my booking?

We understand that plans can change. One of the best things about Graffitifun is that we don't require upfront payments for most bookings—you can pay after the workshop. Additionally, we have a large team of backup artists available, so even if an instructor falls ill, your event in Rotterdam will still go ahead as planned. We value your time and creative energy!

Can you host a pop-up event at my specific location?

Yes, we definitely can! While we have our own preferred pop-up spots in Rotterdam, we are fully mobile. If you have a specific venue, office car park, or event space in mind, we can bring the entire graffiti set-up to you. We'll handle the protective floor coverings and set up mobile walls to ensure the location remains exactly as we found it—plus some new art!

Creative collaboration during a graffiti company outing

Local culture

Rotterdam is arguably the street art capital of the Netherlands. From the massive murals in the Kruiskade to the dedicated "legal walls" at De Esch, the city lives and breathes urban creativity. Our pop-up events tap into this gritty, industrial vibe, often taking place near the iconic Witte de Withstraat or the redeveloped docklands of Katendrecht.

Fun Fact: Rotterdam is home to one of the longest graffiti walls in Europe! The city’s "Make it Happen" mentality is the perfect backdrop for our workshops—where bold ideas and raw talent are always celebrated. ⚓🔥

Pricing

Our Rotterdam pop-up experiences are designed to be affordable and flexible! Prices typically range from €25 to €55 per person.

The final cost depends on the group size, the duration of the workshop, and whether you want to take your canvas home or paint on a communal wall. We believe in transparency and fairness—that’s why we offer a 100% satisfaction guarantee!

No upfront payment: Book now and pay after the workshop. It’s that simple.
