Do I need to have any artistic experience to participate?

Absolutely not! Our anti-vandalism program in Machala is designed for complete beginners. Our professional street artists will guide you through everything from basic can control to complex layering techniques. We provide a supportive, fun environment where the only requirement is an open mind and a willingness to get your hands a little colourful. You will be amazed at what you can create by the end of the session.

Is the spray paint safe to use?

While we use professional-grade spray paints, we take safety very seriously. We provide all necessary protective gear, including high-quality masks, gloves, and overalls to keep your clothes clean. We also conduct our workshops in well-ventilated areas or outdoor spaces. Our instructors are trained to ensure everyone uses the equipment correctly, making the experience both safe and incredibly enjoyable for all ages.

What is the minimum age for the workshop?

For our anti-vandalism and community workshops in Machala, we generally suggest a minimum age of 8 years old. This ensures that participants have the physical strength to operate the spray cans and can follow the safety instructions effectively. We can also tailor sessions specifically for younger children using water-based paint markers or specialized low-pressure cans if requested in advance.

Do I need to pay a deposit when booking?

One of the best things about Graffitifun is our flexibility. We do not require any upfront payment or deposits to secure your booking in Machala. You only pay once the workshop is completed and you are 100% satisfied with the experience. We believe in the quality of our service and want you to feel completely confident when booking your creative event with us.

What happens if it rains on the day of the event?

The 'Banana Capital' can be sunny, but we always have a plan B! If the weather looks like it won't cooperate for an outdoor session, we can often relocate to a covered area or an indoor space with proper ventilation. We also have a dedicated team of backup artists available, so your event won't be cancelled due to staff illness. Your creative journey is safe with us!

How long does a typical workshop last?

Standard anti-vandalism workshops usually last between 1.5 to 3 hours. This gives us enough time for a safety briefing, technique practice, and the creation of a final masterpiece. If you are looking for a more intensive project, such as a large-scale community mural, we can extend the session or spread it over multiple days. Just let us know your goals and we will find the perfect fit.

Where in Machala do the workshops take place?

Machala is a vibrant city, and we love working in its various neighbourhoods! We can host workshops at your specific location—whether that is a school playground, a corporate car park, or a community centre. If you don't have a venue, we can help find a suitable legal graffiti wall or a local creative space. We are fully mobile and bring all the gear directly to you.

Mastering the Can: Our pros show you the 'Zen of the spray'—learning how distance, speed, and pressure change your lines.
Sketching it Out: Use light colours to map out the 'skeleton' of your piece. It's all about the flow and the proportions! ✍️
Filling & Fading: This is where the magic happens! Learn how to blend colours and create those iconic graffiti gradients.
The Power Outline: Every great piece needs a sharp outline. We'll teach you the steady-hand techniques for a professional finish.
