What is an anti-vandalism graffiti program exactly?

Our Perth anti-vandalism program is a proactive community initiative designed to redirect the urge to spray into a positive, legal, and creative outlet. Instead of illegal tagging, we teach participants the history of street art and the technical skills required to create beautiful murals. By providing a professional environment and a legitimate canvas, we help reduce illegal vandalism and foster a sense of pride in our local West Australian neighbourhoods.

Is the workshop safe for younger participants?

Absolutely! Safety is our number one priority at Graffitifun. We provide high-quality protective gear, including masks, gloves, and overalls. Our spray paints are selected for their quality, and we conduct all sessions in well-ventilated outdoor environments or large open spaces throughout Perth. Our professional artists are trained to supervise groups and ensure everyone uses the equipment correctly and safely while having a blast.

Do we need to bring our own spray cans or masks?

No gear? no worries! We provide everything you need to create a masterpiece. This includes a wide range of premium spray paint colours, various nozzles for different effects, protective clothing, and the surfaces we'll be painting on. Just make sure to wear comfortable clothes and closed-toe shoes that you don't mind getting a little bit of 'artistic' dust on. We'll handle the rest of the setup.

What happens if it rains on the day of our workshop?

While we love our sunny Perth weather, we always have a backup plan. If the forecast looks like it's going to pour, we can often move the workshop to a sheltered outdoor area or a large indoor space. Because we have a large team of backup artists, we are very flexible with scheduling. If conditions are truly unsafe, we’ll work with you to reschedule for the next sunny WA day.

Do I need to be 'artistic' to join in?

Not at all! Our workshops are designed for absolute beginners and seasoned doodlers alike. Our friendly artists start with the basics—how to hold the can, how to control the pressure, and how to draw simple lines. You’ll be amazed at how quickly you can go from zero experience to creating a vibrant piece of street art. It's all about having a go and expressing yourself.

How do I book a session for my group in Perth?

Booking is easy as! Just fill out our online contact form or use our Cost Calculator to get an instant estimate. We don't require any upfront payment, so you can lock in your date with peace of mind. Since we have a reliable team of professional artists across Australia, including Sydney and Melbourne, we can usually accommodate your preferred dates even at short notice. pay only after the fun is done!

Step by step

Intro and safety brief: We kick things off with a warm Perth welcome. Our artists explain how to use the gear safely and the importance of using legal spaces for art.
Mastering the can: Learn the 'can-control' basics. We'll show you how different caps (nozzles) change your lines from thin wisps to thick fills.
The 'No Vandalism' talk: A friendly discussion about the impact of illegal tagging versus the community value of professional street art and murals.
Sketching the vision: Grab some paper and pencils. We help you map out your ideas before you touch the wall, ensuring your concept is solid.
First lines: Time to spray! Start with your outlines. Our pros are right there to guide your hand and help you get the proportions right.
Filling and fading: Learn the techniques for vibrant colour fills and the smooth gradients that make professional street art pop.
The final outline: The 'secret sauce' of graffiti. We show you how a crisp final outline brings the whole piece together and makes it look Sharp.
Group photo and cleanup: We'll snap some epic photos of your crew with the finished mural. We take care of all the cleanup, leaving the site spotless!

Local culture

Perth’s street art scene has exploded in recent years, with world-class murals popping up from Wolf Lane to the streets of Northbridge. We love the local WA vibe and aim to contribute to the city's reputation as a creative hub. Our workshops often draw inspiration from the unique colours of the West—the deep blues of the Indian Ocean and the golden hues of our iconic sunsets. 🌊

Fun Fact: Did you know that Perth is home to some of the largest grain silo murals in the world? We're part of a massive 'Public Silo Trail' that stretches across regional WA, proving that street art can turn any industrial structure into a landmark! 🏆

By participating in our program, you're joining a community that values public spaces. We often talk about local legends and the history of the Perth scene to give participants a sense of belonging to something bigger than just a spray can.
