How long does a typical university graffiti workshop last?

Our workshops are super flexible and usually run between 1.5 to 3 hours. For Perth university groups, we find the 2-hour sweet spot works best—it gives everyone enough time to learn the basics, practice their can control, and finish a collaborative masterpiece without rushing. If you've got a specific timetable or a quick 'drop-in' event in mind, just let us know and we can tailor the timing to suit your campus schedule perfectly! 🎨

Is the workshop safe for students and faculty? Habbo?

We take safety seriously so you can focus on the fun! We provide high-quality respiratory masks, gloves, and protective ponchos to keep your clothes clean. We also use premium spray paint that meets safety standards. Our professional artists lead a full safety briefing before anyone touches a can, ensuring everyone knows how to handle the gear correctly. Whether we’re in a carpark or a designated campus 'free wall', we make sure the environment is safe for everyone. 🛡️

Do students need prior art experience to participate?

Nope, you don't need a single ounce of artistic experience! Our workshops are designed for everyone from total beginners to closet sketchers. Our Perth instructors are experts at breaking down complex techniques into simple, easy-to-follow steps. We focus on 'controlled creative chaos'—it’s more about the experience, the laughs, and trying something new together than being the next Banksy (though we might help you find your inner artist along the way!). ✨

Where in Perth do the workshops take place?

We’re pretty flexible! We can host the workshop at various outdoor locations across Perth, or even right on your university campus if you have a suitable outdoor space with good ventilation. If you don't have a spot in mind, don't sweat it—we have access to several cool street art locations around the city where we can set up our mobile boards and get to work legally and safely. 📍

What materials are included in the booking?

We’ve got you covered! We provide everything: a huge range of spray paint colours, caps (nozzles) for different effects, protective gear, and the 'canvas' (whether that’s a temporary wall, boards, or a communal mural space). You just need to show up in comfortable clothes that you don't mind getting a tiny bit of dust on. We even bring the inspiration and the music to keep the vibes high while you paint! 🎧

Is this a good activity for student team building?

Absolutely! Graffiti is a brilliant way to break the ice. It encourages collaboration, communication, and a shared sense of achievement. Seeing a group of students who barely know each other work together on a massive piece of art is incredible. It’s a low-pressure environment where titles don't matter—everyone is just an artist for the day. It’s perfect for O-Week, student guild events, or specific faculty bonding days. 🤝

Local culture

Perth’s street art scene is absolutely bursting with life, from the hidden laneways of Northbridge to the massive murals of the CBD and Fremantle. We draw inspiration from the local legends who have turned the "City of Light" into a giant outdoor gallery. There’s a unique energy in the WA art scene—a mix of coastal vibes and urban grit that we love to share with students.

Fun Fact: Did you know Perth hosts many "Public Silo Trail" projects and has some of the highest concentrations of legal street art walls in Australia? It’s the perfect backdrop to learn a craft that’s deeply woven into the city’s modern identity! ☀️
