Do I need to be artistic to enjoy a graffiti workshop?

Absolutely! Our indoor graffiti workshops on the Gold Coast are designed for everyone, from those who can't draw a stick figure to seasoned creatives. Our professional artists guide you through every step, starting with basic can control and lettering techniques. You'll be amazed at how quickly you pick up the skills to create a piece you’re actually proud of. It’s all about having a go and enjoying the process.

Is it safe to spray paint indoors?

Safety is our top priority. We provide high-quality respiratory masks, gloves, and protective overalls to keep your clothes clean and your lungs happy. Since we use low-odour, professional-grade spray paints and ensure the indoor venue is properly ventilated, it’s a very safe environment. Our instructors also provide a comprehensive safety briefing before anyone touches a spray can, ensuring a hassle-free experience for your whole group.

How long does a typical workshop last?

For our indoor party workshops, sessions usually run between 1.5 to 3 hours. This gives us plenty of time to cover the history of street art, practice different spraying techniques, and complete a final masterpiece. We can also tailor the duration to fit your event schedule, making it the perfect kick-off activity before heading out to enjoy the Surfers Paradise nightlife.

What should I wear to the workshop?

We recommend wearing comfortable clothes and shoes that you wouldn't mind getting a tiny bit of paint on—just in case! While we provide full-body protective gear (suits and gloves), it's best to leave your brand-new designer gear at home. Think casual and ready to move; after all, creating street art is an active and energetic process!

Where are the workshops held?

We handle all the logistics! We have access to several cool indoor creative spaces across the Gold Coast, from Burleigh Heads to Southport. However, if you have a specific venue in mind—like a hired hall or a large garage—we can often bring the workshop to you, provided there is enough space and appropriate ventilation for the group.

What is the minimum and maximum group size?

We find that a minimum of 5 to 10 people works best for the atmosphere, but we can cater to massive groups of 100+ for corporate events or big parties. If you have a very large group, we simply bring in more of our pro artists to ensure everyone gets plenty of one-on-one guidance and enough time on the 'wall'.

How do I book and when do I pay?

Booking is easy and stress-free! You can use our online Cost Calculator to get an instant estimate, or simply send us an enquiry. We don't require any upfront payment—you only pay after the workshop is finished and you're 100% satisfied with the experience. This gives you total flexibility and peace of mind when planning your Gold Coast event.

Local culture

The Gold Coast isn't just about iconic surf breaks and theme parks; it’s home to a rapidly growing urban art scene. From the hidden gems in the laneways of Miami Marketta to the towering murals in Southport, the 'GC' is embracing street culture like never before. Our indoor workshops tap into this local energy, providing a creative hub where the coastal vibes meet gritty urban expression. We love bringing that 'Burleigh cool' into our sessions, reflecting the city's unique mix of high-end style and relaxed coastal grit.

Fun Fact: Did you know the Gold Coast hosts several street art festivals throughout the year? The city is becoming a major destination for international street artists who come to trade the concrete jungles for our golden sands! 🏖️
