Do I need any prior art experience to join the VIP workshop?

Absolutely not! Our VIP graffiti workshop in Tamale is designed for everyone, from total beginners to seasoned creatives. Our professional artists will guide you through every step, starting with basic spray can control and moving into advanced techniques. We focus on the journey and the fun of creating something unique, so don't worry about your skill level—you will be amazed at what you can achieve!

What materials are included in the VIP package?

We provide everything you need for a premium experience. This includes high-quality spray paint in a massive range of colours, professional-grade masks, gloves, protective suits, and high-quality canvases or a dedicated wall space. We also provide snacks and refreshments to keep your energy up while you create your masterpiece. Just bring your enthusiasm and wear clothes you don't mind getting a little paint on!

How long does the VIP graffiti experience last?

A standard VIP session usually lasts between 2 and 3 hours. This gives us enough time for a deep dive into street art history, a comprehensive demonstration of techniques, and plenty of hands-on painting time without feeling rushed. If you have a specific schedule in mind, we can easily tailor the duration to fit your day perfectly.

Is the workshop safe, and what protective gear is provided?

Safety is our top priority. We use high-quality FFP3 respirators to ensure you aren't breathing in fumes, and we provide disposable suits and gloves to keep your clothes clean. Our workshops are held in well-ventilated areas, and our professional instructors are trained to manage all equipment safely. You can focus on the art while we handle the safety logistics.

What happens if it rains on the day of my workshop?

Tamale has a tropical climate, but we have you covered. We have access to sheltered outdoor locations and indoor studios that allow for proper ventilation while keeping us dry. If the weather looks particularly rough, we can easily reschedule or move the event to one of our backup indoor spots in the city. Your creative flow won't be stopped by a bit of rain!

Can we choose a specific theme or style for our artwork?

Yes, the VIP experience is highly customisable! Whether you want to focus on a specific style, create a piece that commemorates a special event, or even choose a specific colour palette to match your home decor, we can make it happen. Just let us know your preferences during the booking process, and our lead artist will prepare a bespoke plan for your session.

Do I need to pay upfront to book the VIP experience?

We believe in the quality of our experiences, which is why we don't require payment until the workshop is complete. You can book your date and secure your lead artist today with total peace of mind. After you've finished your masterpiece and had an incredible time, you can settle the bill via bank transfer or local payment methods. It's all about making it easy for you!

No payment upfront: We trust you! Work first, get inspired, and pay only after you've had an amazing time.
Bespoke locations: From stylish urban spots to private garden setups, we choose locations that inspire greatness.
Professional grade kit: We use the exact same high-pressure cans and specialty caps used by the world's most famous muralists. 🔥
Guaranteed inspiration: If you're feeling stuck, our backup artists and creative tools ensure the party never stops!
Memories that last: You don't just leave with skills; you leave with a high-quality physical piece of art and professional photos.

Step by step

Arrival & refreshments: Meet your personal street art pro at the venue and kick things off with a cold drink and an introduction to the local scene.
The artistic blueprint: We’ll discuss your vision and sketch out some concepts on paper before we touch a single spray can.
Mastering the tools: Learn about different nozzles (caps), pressure control, and how to hold the can like a true professional artist.
First lines: Practice basic strokes and shapes on a practice surface to build your confidence and muscle memory.
Main piece execution: Start bringing your VIP canvas or wall to life, with your instructor providing one-on-one guidance on layering and structure.
Advanced techniques: This is where the magic happens—learn how to add highlights, shadows, and those crisp "power outlines" that make art pop.
The final "cut-back": Use sharpen-up techniques to refine your edges and ensure your masterpiece looks gallery-ready.
Photoshoot & reveal: We’ll stage a professional-style photoshoot with your artwork so you have the perfect memories to share online.
Wrap-up: Take your canvas home (if applicable) and enjoy the satisfaction of being a newly minted Tamale street artist!

Local culture

Tamale is a city of incredible rhythms and rising urban energy. Known as the fastest-growing city in West Africa, it’s a place where tradition meets a fresh, modern edge. The local street art scene is beginning to bloom, influenced by the rhythmic patterns of the Damba festival and the earthy tones of the Northern savannah. Our workshops tap into this unique atmosphere, blending global graffiti techniques with the soulful spirit of the Northern Region. 🇬🇭

Fun Fact: Did you know Tamale is often called the "Bicycle Capital" of Ghana? Just like the intricate paths of the city's cyclists, graffiti art is all about finding your flow and navigating your own creative route! 🚲

When you join us for a VIP session, you aren't just painting a wall; you are participating in the cultural evolution of Tamale. We often host our sessions in locations that reflect the city's unique architecture, giving you a truly immersive "Tamale-style" experience while you spray.
