How long does a typical graffiti birthday workshop last?

Most kids' birthday workshops in Singapore City last between 1.5 to 2 hours. This provides the perfect balance of learning time and creative freedom without the kids getting tired. We start with a safety briefing and basic techniques, followed by the main creation phase where they design their masterpiece. If you have a specific schedule with cake and presents, we can easily adjust the timing to fit your party flow! 🎨

Is it safe for children to use spray paint?

Safety is our number one priority! We provide high-quality protective gear, including masks, gloves, and overalls to keep clothes clean. Our professional artists supervise the kids at all times, ensuring they use the spray cans correctly and safely. We also use low-odor spray paint whenever possible to ensure a comfortable environment for everyone involved. You can relax knowing the kids are in expert hands while they unleash their creativity. ✨

What is the minimum age for a graffiti party?

For the best experience, we recommend a minimum age of 6 years old. At this age, children have the motor skills needed to press the spray nozzles and follow simple creative instructions. For teenagers, we ramp up the complexity with more advanced stenciling and shading techniques. We tailor our teaching style to the specific age group of your party to make sure everyone feels like a pro artist. 🏆

Do the kids need any prior art experience?

Not at all! Our workshops are designed for absolute beginners. Our professional street artists guide the kids through every step, from drawing their first 'tag' to filling in colors and adding cool 3D effects. Most kids are amazed at what they can create in just one session. It’s all about having fun and expressing their unique personality through art, regardless of their previous drawing skills. 🎤

Do the children get to take their artwork home?

The best part is that everyone gets to keep what they make! Depending on the package you choose, the kids will create their graffiti on large canvases or sturdy boards. Once the paint is dry, these make incredible souvenirs that they can hang in their bedrooms. It’s a much cooler 'goodie bag' than a plastic toy, and a lasting memory of a fantastic birthday celebration in Singapore! 🎁

Where in Singapore City can we host the graffiti party?

We are very flexible with locations! We can host the party at one of our dedicated street art spots around Singapore City, or we can come to your backyard or a local park (subject to permits). If you have a specific venue in mind, just let us know. We handle all the setup and ensure the area is protected, leaving no permanent marks behind—only beautiful art on the canvases! 📍

How far in advance should I book the party?

We recommend booking at least 3 to 4 weeks in advance, especially for weekend slots which are very popular in Singapore. However, we have a large team of artists and can sometimes accommodate last-minute requests. If you're planning a party during school holidays or public holidays, booking even earlier is a smart move. Check out our Cost Calculator for an instant estimate to get your planning started! 🗓️

Step by step

Pick your date: Choose your preferred day and time for the big celebration in Singapore City.
Select your venue: Decide if you want to come to our creative studio or if you'd like us to bring the party to your backyard.
Protective gear up: When we arrive, every guest gets a designer mask, gloves, and protective suit to stay clean.
Master the basics: Our pro graffiti artist teaches the kids how to hold the can, control the pressure, and spray lines.
Sketch the vision: The kids brainstorm their own 'street name' or cool character to spray on their canvas.
Fill with color: This is where the magic happens! They choose from a rainbow of spray cans to bring their art to life.
Add the finishing touches: We teach them how to do 'outlining' and 'highlights' like real street artists.
Photo session: Grab the group for an epic photo shoot in front of their finished masterpieces. 🎉
Take it home: Once dry, the artwork is ready to be showcased on the kids' bedroom walls!

Local culture

Singapore City is a hidden gem for street art lovers! While the city is famous for its clean streets, spots like Haji Lane and the Aliwal Arts Centre have turned the Lion City into a vibrant canvas. Our graffiti workshops celebrate this local "Can-do" spirit, blending professional techniques with the unique urban vibe of neighborhoods from Tiong Bahru to Kampong Glam. We love incorporating local elements into our designs, helping kids appreciate the balance between organized urban beauty and creative self-expression. 🇸🇬

Fun Fact: Did you know that some of Singapore's most famous street art is located in back-alleys that used to be simple service roads? Now, they are world-class outdoor galleries!
