Do our employees need any artistic skills to participate?

Absolutely! Our workshops are designed for everyone, from those who haven't touched a spray can since school to naturally gifted artists. Our professional facilitators provide step-by-step guidance on techniques like fading, outlining, and filling. We focus on the fun and the process, ensuring everyone feels comfortable and confident. You’ll be amazed at the high-quality mural your team can produce together, even without prior experience. It's all about the team spirit! 🎨

Is the workshop safe and what should we wear?

Safety is our top priority. We provide high-quality protective gear, including masks, gloves, and overalls to keep your clothes clean. We use professional-grade spray paint in well-ventilated outdoor areas or specially prepared indoor spaces. Our artists lead a safety briefing before we begin, explaining the proper way to handle the cans. You can relax knowing that your team is in a supervised, secure, and professional environment while they explore their creative sides. 💪

How long does the graffiti workshop last?

A standard company outing in Tema typically lasts between 1.5 to 3 hours. This includes the introductory session, technique practice, and the collaborative creation of your masterpiece. We can easily adjust the timing to fit into your wider corporate schedule, whether you want a quick energiser or a full-afternoon deep dive into street art culture. Just let us know your time constraints and we’ll make it work! ⏱️

Can you host the workshop at our office location?

Definitely! We can host the event at a cool outdoor spot in Tema, or we can bring the entire setup to your office car park or a rented venue. We use mobile "graffiti walls" (special plastic foils or canvases) to ensure we leave the property exactly as we found it—except perhaps for a stunning piece of art you choose to keep! We handle all the logistics and cleanup, making it hassle-free for you. 🏢

What happens if it rains or an artist is unavailable?

We aren't afraid of a little rain! For outdoor sessions, we always have backup plans. If the weather looks truly difficult, we can often move to a covered area or use indoor-safe materials. Furthermore, Graffitifun has a large team of backup artists, so even if an instructor is unwell, your event in Tema will still go ahead as planned. We guarantee a smooth experience regardless of the circumstances. ☔

How do we book and what are the payment terms?

Booking is simple and risk-free. You can request a quote via our website and we’ll get back to you with a custom proposal. We don’t require upfront payments—you only pay after the workshop is completed and you're 100% satisfied. We believe in the quality of our service and want you to book with total peace of mind. Let’s get your Tema team outing on the calendar! 📅

Step by step

The warm-up: Your team meets our professional graffiti artists at the chosen Tema location for an energetic introduction to street art history.
Safety first: Everyone gets suited up in protective gear and receives a briefing on how to use the equipment responsibly and safely.
Master the tech: Learn the basics! We teach you different nozzle types, how to control pressure, and how to create clean lines and smooth gradients.
Sketching the vision: Work together to brainstorm a theme that represents your company values or a fun team slogan.
The first layer: Start filling in the background and the main shapes of your mural under the expert eye of our mentors.
Detailing & outlines: This is where the magic happens! Add the sharp edges, highlights, and "tags" that make the artwork pop.
The grand reveal: Step back and admire the massive, colourful masterpiece your team created from scratch.
Photo op: We’ll take professional-style group photos of your team with their finished artwork—perfect for the company newsletter!
Cleanup: Our team handles all the mess and recycling, leaving you to head off for a team dinner or drinks with a sense of pride.

Local culture

Tema, known as the "Harbour City," is a place of precision, planning, and industrial might. Designed by Ghana’s first president, it has a unique grid layout that mirrors the structured world of corporate life. We love breaking that structure with the fluid, vibrant chaos of street art! The city’s bustling atmosphere provides the perfect backdrop for a creative explosion. ✨

Fun Fact: Did you know Tema is located exactly on the Greenwich Meridian (Longitude 0°)? This means your team isn't just making art; you're creating at the literal "centre of the world." Let that global energy inspire your team's mural! From the industrial vibes of the Manhean area to the coastal breezes, Tema’s unique character makes every workshop feel special and locally rooted. 🇬🇭
