Do I need any previous art experience to join?

Absolutely! Most of our participants in Larissa have never touched a spray can before. Our professional artists start with the basics, teaching you how to hold the can, control the pressure, and create clean lines. You'll be amazed at how quickly you pick up the techniques. We provide a supportive, high-energy environment where 'mistakes' are just part of the creative process. By the end of the session, you'll have a piece of art you're proud of!

Is the workshop safe for everyone?

Safety is our top priority. We provide high-quality respiratory masks, protective gloves, and disposable coveralls to keep your clothes clean. The spray paints we use are professional-grade but safe when used with our provided gear. Our artist instructors provide a full safety briefing before anyone starts spraying, ensuring a fun and worry-free experience for everyone involved in the cultural event.

What should I wear to the workshop?

We recommend wearing comfortable clothes and shoes that you don't mind getting a little dusty or the occasional stray paint speck on. While we provide full protective suits (coveralls), it's always better to be safe than sorry! Since many of our Larissa workshops take place outdoors to capture that authentic street vibe, check the weather forecast and dress accordingly for a day of active creativity.

How long does a typical session last?

A standard cultural graffiti experience in Larissa typically lasts between 1.5 to 3 hours. This gives us enough time for a brief history of street art, a demonstration of techniques, individual practice, and the creation of your final masterpiece. We can also customise the duration to fit your event schedule if you're looking for a shorter 'taster' session or a more in-depth masterclass.

Do I need to pay in advance?

We believe in zero-risk booking. You don't need to pay anything upfront when you book your workshop. Benefit from our 'pay after the workshop' policy, which ensures you are 100% satisfied with the experience before any payment is settled. We accept various payment methods for your convenience, making the administrative side as smooth as the paint we spray!

Where exactly in Larissa do the workshops take place?

Our workshops are designed to be mobile and flexible! We can host the event at various vibrant outdoor locations around Larissa, or we can come to your specific venue if it's suitable. We use large canvases or mobile cellophane walls (cellograff) if a permanent wall isn't available. This allows us to bring the street art culture directly to your festival, school, or private event space.

What happens if it rains or an artist is sick?

Rain doesn't have to stop the fun! We always have a backup plan. If the weather in Larissa isn't cooperating, we can often move the workshop to a covered outdoor area or an indoor space using low-odour water-based spray paints. Additionally, we have a network of backup artists to ensure your event goes ahead even if an instructor is unexpectedly unavailable. Your creative journey is safe with us!

Local culture

Larissa, the heart of Thessaly, is a city where ancient history meets a buzzing modern student life. While the First Ancient Theatre stands as a testament to the past, the contemporary street art scene is growing fast in the city's lively squares and hidden alleyways. Our workshops tap into this local energy, drawing inspiration from the urban landscape of the Pineios riverbanks and the creative vibes of the Phrourio Hill area. 🏛️

Fun Fact: Did you know that Larissa is one of the oldest continually inhabited cities in the world? By joining our workshop, you're contributing to a creative tradition that spans thousands of years, just with a modern, neon twist! 🎨

We love the contrast of Larissa's classical roots with the raw, expressive power of graffiti. Our sessions are designed to celebrate this local duality, encouraging you to mix traditional Greek influences with bold, modern tag styles. Whether we are setting up near the bustling city centre or a quieter creative hub, the 'Larisian' spirit of hospitality and passion is always at the core of our events.
