Do I need to be artistic to enjoy the graffiti workshop?

Absolutely! Most of our participants in Amsterdam have never touched a spray can before. Our professional artists break down the process into simple, manageable steps. We start with basic lines and shapes before moving on to more complex fill-ins and highlights. By the end of the session, you'll be amazed at the masterpiece you've created, regardless of your previous artistic experience.

What should I wear to a graffiti event in Amsterdam?

We provide all the necessary safety equipment, including high-quality FFP3 masks, protective overalls, and gloves. While we take every precaution to keep you clean, we always recommend wearing old clothes and comfortable shoes that you don't mind getting a tiny bit of paint on. The spray paint we use is professional-grade and permanent, so it's better to be safe than sorry!

What happens if it rains during our outdoor session?

Amsterdam weather can be unpredictable, but we've got you covered. For cultural events, we often use legal street art zones that have sheltered areas. If the forecast looks particularly bad, we can arrange indoor venues or use our special water-based 'clean' spray cans that are safe for indoor use. We also have a network of backup artists to ensure your event goes ahead no matter what.

How long does a typical graffiti workshop last?

A standard cultural workshop usually lasts between 1.5 to 3 hours. This gives us enough time for a brief history of the Amsterdam street art scene, a safety demo, practice sessions, and the final creation of your group or individual artwork. We can easily scale the duration up or down depending on your specific event schedule and the number of participants involved.

Can you host the workshop at our specific location?

We are highly mobile and can come to almost any location in Amsterdam! We often work at NDSM Wharf or Flevopark, but we can also set up at your office, a school playground, or a festival ground. If you don't have a venue, let us know, and we can suggest several legal 'Hall of Fame' spots across the city that provide an authentic urban backdrop.

Is the spray paint safe for everyone to use?

Safety is our number one priority. We use low-odour spray paint where possible and always provide professional-grade respiratory protection. Our instructors are experienced in managing groups and ensure that everyone maintains a safe distance while spraying. We also handle all the setup and cleanup, so the environment remains tidy and safe for everyone involved in the cultural event.

How do I book and do I need to pay in advance?

Booking is easy and risk-free. You can contact us via our website to check availability for your chosen date in Amsterdam. Once we've agreed on the details and group size, your booking is confirmed. The best part? You don't have to pay anything upfront. We believe in our service so much that you only pay after the workshop is successfully completed.

Creative collaboration during a graffiti company outing

Local culture

Amsterdam isn't just about canals and old masters; it’s a world-renowned hub for street art. From the massive murals at the NDSM Wharf in Noord to the legendary legal 'Hall of Fame' walls in Flevopark, the city's urban canvas is constantly evolving. Our workshops tap into this local heritage, often taking place in areas where the air is thick with the scent of creativity and history. We draw inspiration from the city's 'Amsterdam School' of graffiti, which has its own unique flow and style compared to London or New York. When you join our workshop, you're not just painting a wall; you're participating in a living cultural tradition that has defined the alternative character of neighbourhoods like De Pijp and the Jordaan for decades. We also offer sessions in other Dutch creative hubs like Rotterdam, The Hague, Utrecht, and Eindhoven.
