Do I need any prior art experience for an Amsterdam graffiti workshop?

Absolutely! Most of our participants have never touched a spray can before. Our professional artists are expert teachers who break down complex techniques into easy, manageable steps. We focus on building your confidence from the very first spray, ensuring everyone walks away with a piece of art they are proud of. It is all about the experience, not prior expertise.

Is the workshop safe and what should I wear?

We take safety very seriously. We provide high-quality FFP3 masks, protective gloves, and disposable overalls to keep your clothes clean. The workshop takes place in a well-ventilated area, and our instructors provide a comprehensive safety briefing before any paint is sprayed. We use professional-grade low-pressure cans which are much easier and safer for beginners to handle.

How long does the graffiti session last?

Our standard Amsterdam onboarding workshops typically last between 1.5 and 2 hours. This provides the perfect balance of theory, practice, and the creation of your final masterpiece. If you have a specific schedule or time constraint for your team outing, just let us know, and we can adjust the tempo to fit your day perfectly.

Can you accommodate large corporate groups?

Yes, our workshops are a popular choice for corporate team building. In Amsterdam, we can host groups ranging from small teams of 10 to large corporate gatherings of up to 100+ people. For larger groups, we bring in additional professional artists (our backup system) to ensure every participant gets personal guidance and a high-quality experience.

What happens if it rains on the day of our workshop?

Amsterdam weather can be unpredictable, but we have you covered. We work with various locations, including sheltered spots and indoor studios. If the weather turns, we can often pivot to a covered area or use our backup artist network to reschedule. We ensure the creative process isn't dampened by a bit of Dutch rain.

How does the payment process work?

We believe in the quality of our service, so we don't require upfront payments for most bookings. You can pay after the workshop is completed and you are satisfied with the experience. This keeps things simple and stress-free for you and your group. We can handle payments via invoice or other standard methods.

What is included in the workshop price?

We provide everything you need to become a street artist for the day. This includes a wide array of colourful spray cans, caps (nozzles) for different effects, protective gear (overalls, gloves, masks), and the 'canvas' itself—whether that is a wall or individual panels. All you need to bring is your creativity and some comfortable shoes!

Local culture

Amsterdam is a global hub for creativity, and its street art culture is second to none. From the legendary NDSM Wharf in the North to the hidden gems in the Jordaan, the city breathes art. Our workshops tap into this local spirit, often taking place near iconic spots where the "Old School" met the "New School." We don't just teach you how to paint; we share the stories of the Amsterdam crews and the evolution of the scene from the 80s subway era to today's high-end gallery murals. You aren't just doing a workshop; you are becoming part of the city's living, breathing urban canvas for a day.
