Do we need any previous artistic experience to participate?

Absolutely not! Our Amsterdam workshops are designed for everyone, from those who haven't picked up a pen in years to the naturally creative. Our professional artists guide your team through every step, from basic lines to advanced shading techniques. You will be amazed at the high-quality mural your team can produce together, even with zero prior experience in street art or painting.

What materials are included in the team building package?

We take care of everything. We provide high-quality spray cans in a rainbow of colours, protective overalls, gloves, and respiratory masks for your safety. We also provide the canvas or wooden panels that you'll be painting on. All you need to bring is your team and some comfortable shoes you don't mind getting a little dusty while exploring the Amsterdam street art scene.

Where in Amsterdam do the workshops take place?

We are highly flexible! We have several dedicated legal graffiti zones across Amsterdam, such as the famous NDSM Wharf, where we can host your group. However, if you have a specific venue or your own office space with an outdoor area, we can often come to you. We use low-odour paints where possible and ensure full floor protection for mobile setups.

How long does a typical graffiti workshop last?

A standard corporate team building session usually lasts between 1.5 and 2.5 hours. This includes the initial safety briefing, technique practice, and the collaborative creation of your final masterpiece. If you are on a tight schedule between meetings in the Canal District or want a more in-depth half-day creative retreat, we can easily adjust the duration to suit your itinerary.

Is the activity safe for all employees?

Safety is our number one priority. We provide FFP3 respiratory masks, nitrile gloves, and full-body protective suits to keep your clothes clean. Our workshops are held in well-ventilated outdoor areas or large industrial spaces. Furthermore, our artists are first-aid trained and we maintain a controlled environment to ensure everyone has a fun, risk-free experience while exploring their creative side.

Can we incorporate our company logo or specific brand themes?

Yes, we can! We love helping teams incorporate their corporate identity into the art. Whether you want to spray-paint your company logo, focus on specific brand colours, or illustrate your company's core values, our artists will help you design a concept that reflects your business spirit. It is a fantastic way to create a permanent or semi-permanent piece of office decor.

How does the payment process work and is it secure?

One of the best things about Graffitifun is our 'no-stress' booking policy. You don't need to pay anything upfront. We understand that corporate planning can be fluid, so you simply pay after the workshop has been completed successfully. We also have a pool of backup artists available, meaning we never have to cancel on you due to staff illness.

The experience

Why choose a graffiti workshop for your next team event in Amsterdam? It is more than just painting; it is a powerful tool for communication and shared achievement. Here is why it works:

Encourages creative thinking: Break free from "business-as-usual" and approach problems with a fresh, artistic perspective.
Level playing field: In front of a blank wall, CEOs and interns are on the same level. Everyone starts as a beginner.
Tangible results: Unlike a lecture, you walk away with a physical piece of art that represents your shared effort.
Stress relief: The physical act of spray painting is incredibly liberating and a great way to decompress.
Tailored to your brand: We can theme the workshop around your company values, goals, or upcoming project milestones.
No-risk booking: With no upfront payment and a 100% satisfaction focus, your planning is completely stress-free.

Step by step

Introduction & inspiration: Meet your professional artist at a cool Amsterdam location and dive into the history of Dutch street art.
Safety & gear: Get kitted out in your protective overalls, gloves, and masks to ensure a clean and safe creative process.
Mastering the can: Learn the fundamental techniques, from controlled lines and dots to creating different spray widths and pressures.
Sketching the concept: Work together as a team to brainstorm and sketch out your large-scale design on paper before moving to the wall.
Outline & fill: Start applying your design to the canvas, learning how to fill large areas efficiently while working in sync with your colleagues.
Adding the details: Under the guidance of our artists, add highlights, shadows, and crisp 3D effects to make your mural pop.
The grand reveal: Step back and admire the collective masterpiece your team has created while capturing some epic group photos.
Debrief & wrap-up: Discuss the collaboration process and take your individual artworks (if applicable) back to the office or home.

Local culture

Amsterdam is a global mecca for street art, moving far beyond the traditional icons of windmills and tulips. The city has a rich history of "de spuitbus" (the spray can), particularly in areas like the NDSM Wharf in Noord, which has evolved from a derelict shipyard into one of the world's largest outdoor galleries. By choosing a team building activity here, you aren't just doing a workshop; you are participating in a living cultural movement. We often host sessions amidst the backdrop of massive murals created by international legends. The "Amsterdamse" attitude is one of freedom and expression, making it the perfect playground for your team to break out of their professional shells. Whether you're exploring the gritty charm of the Jordaan or the modern architecture of the Zuidas, the city's creative energy is infectious and will definitely inspire your team's artwork.

Pricing

Our Amsterdam graffiti workshops are competitively priced to suit various budgets and requirements. Prices typically range from €25 to €55 per person, depending on the group size, chosen duration, and specific customisations (like painting a permanent mural at your office).

We believe in transparency and trust, which is why we offer a no upfront payment policy—you only pay after the workshop is finished. For large groups or specific brand activations, we provide tiered pricing.
