Do I need any prior art experience to participate?

Absolutely! Most our attendees in Malang have never held a spray can before. Our professional artists guide you through every step, from basic nozzle control to advanced layering techniques. We provide a safe, supportive environment where the focus is on creative expression and meeting new people rather than artistic perfection. You'll be surprised at what you can create by the end of the session!

Why is graffiti better for networking than a traditional mixer?

Standard networking can feel stiff; our graffiti sessions break the ice instantly. When you're both wearing masks and trying to master a 'fade' technique, social barriers vanish. It encourages collaboration, sparks genuine laughter, and gives you a shared experience to talk about long after the paint has dried. It’s the ultimate way to build authentic professional relationships in a relaxed setting.

What should I wear and is it safe?

We’ve got you covered! We provide premium protective gear, including overall suits, gloves, and high-quality respiratory masks. While our water-based paints are professional grade, we always recommend wearing clothes you don't mind getting a tiny bit of 'art' on, just in case! Safety is our top priority, and we ensure everyone follows proper handling procedures throughout the workshop.

How long does a typical networking workshop last?

Our sessions in Malang typically last between 2 and 3 hours. This provides the perfect balance: enough time to learn the techniques and complete a collaborative project, but also plenty of 'down-time' to circulate, chat with other professionals, and enjoy the creative atmosphere. We can also customise the duration to fit into a larger corporate itinerary if needed.

Can the event be held at our own office or venue?

We offer total flexibility. We can host the event at one of our partnered creative spaces in Malang, or if you have a suitable outdoor or well-ventilated indoor space at your office or venue, we can bring the 'street' to you! We handle all the setup and intensive cleanup, ensuring the venue remains spotless once the masterpieces are finished.

How does the 'pay after the workshop' policy work?

We believe in the quality of our experiences, so we don't require any upfront payment. You can book your date and confirm the details with us, and you only pay after the workshop has successfully concluded. This ensures you are 100% satisfied with the event and gives you peace of mind during the planning process.

Can we take our artwork home with us?

Definitely! While we love collaborative murals, we can also arrange for individual canvases. This allows each participant to take home their own unique piece of Malang-inspired street art to hang in their office or home. It serves as a fantastic memento of the connections made during the event and a proud reminder of your newfound creative skills.

The experience

Why choose a graffiti workshop for your next professional gathering in Malang? Because standard mixers are forgettable, but creating art is an experience that sticks! Here’s why our events are the talk of the town:

Zero-pressure atmosphere: No awkward "elevator pitches"—just collaborative fun that lets conversations flow naturally. ✨
Physical & digital mementos: Take home photos of your work and perhaps even the canvas itself to decorate your office!
Inclusive for everyone: You don't need to be an artist. Our pros ensure everyone contributes something brilliant. 🎨
Authentic Malang vibes: We embrace the local creative culture, making your event feel like part of the city’s pulse.
No risk booking: With our "pay after the workshop" policy, you only settle the bill once you've seen the smiles on everyone's faces. 💪
Boost group morale: There’s nothing like the "we made that" feeling to bond a group of professionals together.

Step by step

Ice-breaking intro: We kick things off with a high-energy introduction to the world of street art and some quick social warm-ups to get everyone talking.
Concept brainstorming: In small breakout groups, you'll brainstorm themes and symbols that represent your industry or the Malang business community.
Safety & gear up: Our pros help everyone get into their protective suits and explain how to use the equipment safely and effectively.
Mastering the nozzle: A hands-on tutorial where you'll learn the 'can-control' basics—lines, dots, and those iconic graffiti drips.
The outline phase: You'll start sketching the collective mural onto the wall or canvas, working side-by-side with your new connections.
Filling and blending: This is where the magic happens! Groups work together to add vibrant colours and smooth gradients to the piece.
The final ‘pop’: Learn how to add highlights and sharp outlines to make the artwork stand out like a professional piece of street art.
Gallery walk & talk: We finish with a drink in hand, admiring the collective work and exchanging business cards in a totally relaxed atmosphere.
Cleanup & wrap-up: Our team handles the mess while you head off with a smartphone full of photos and a pocket full of new contacts.

Local culture

Malang has always been a city of soul and scenery, but beneath its colonial charm and cool mountain air lies a burgeoning contemporary art scene. From the vibrant colours of Kampung Warna-Warni Jodipan to the hidden murals in the city’s backstreets, Malang is the perfect backdrop for a creative revolution. Our networking events tap into this local spirit of "Gotong Royong" (mutual cooperation), blending traditional Indonesian community values with modern street culture.

Fun Fact: Did you know that Malang's famous "Rainbow Village" (Jodipan) started as a student project to revitalise the area? It proves that a little bit of paint and a lot of community spirit can transform an entire neighbourhood—exactly what we aim to do with your professional network!

Pricing

We believe every networking event should be as unique as the people attending it. Because we tailor each session to your specific group size and venue requirements, we don't have a "one size fits all" price list. Whether you're looking for a small executive mixer or a massive industry-wide activation, we offer competitive rates with no hidden fees.

Prices depend on group size and setup—request a quote today for a tailored proposal!
