Do I need any prior art experience to join the workshop?

Absolutely not! Our Tshikapa showroom workshops are designed for everyone, from total beginners to seasoned creatives. Our professional artists will guide you through every step, starting with basic can control and moving up to advanced layering and shading techniques. You will be amazed at how quickly you can create something that looks professional and stylish. Fun is our main goal, so just bring your enthusiasm and we will handle the rest!

Is the spray paint safe to use indoors?

We take safety very seriously. We provide high-quality respiratory masks, protective gloves, and disposable overalls to keep your clothes clean and your lungs safe. Our showroom is well-ventilated, ensuring a comfortable environment for everyone. Additionally, our instructors are trained to provide a safe experience, ensuring that the spray cans are used correctly and responsibly throughout the entire session. Your well-being is our top priority while you create your masterpiece.

How long does the showroom experience usually last?

Our sessions typically last between 1.5 to 3 hours. This gives us enough time for a brief history of street art, a demonstration of techniques, and plenty of hands-on painting time. If you are part of a larger retail event or brand activation, we can customise the timing to fit your specific schedule. We move at a pace that ensures you feel relaxed and inspired rather than rushed.

What should I wear to the graffiti workshop?

We recommend wearing comfortable clothes that you don't mind getting a tiny bit of paint on, just in case. While we provide full protective gear including overalls, it's best to be safe! We also suggest wearing closed-toe shoes for better stability while you are painting. Once you are suited up in our gear, you will look like a professional street artist and be ready to hit the canvas!

What is the minimum or maximum group size?

The beauty of our showroom experience is its flexibility! We can host small, intimate groups of 5-10 people, or larger corporate teams and events with 50+ participants. For very large groups in Tshikapa, we often split the session into rotating stations so everyone gets a high-quality, hands-on experience without feeling crowded. If you have a specific group size in mind, just let us know and we will make it work.

Can I take my artwork home with me after the session?

One of the best parts is that you get to take your creation home! Whether you've painted on a high-quality canvas or a custom item, it's yours to keep as a memento of your time in our Tshikapa showroom. We will even provide tips on how to varnish or protect your artwork so it stays vibrant for years to come. It’s the perfect unique decor for your home or office.

How do I book and when do I need to pay?

Booking is easy and flexible. You can request a quote through our website or use our Cost Calculator to get an instant estimate. The best part? There is no upfront payment required! You only pay after the workshop has been successfully completed. We also have backup artists on standby to ensure that your event goes ahead no matter what. We make the soul of street art accessible and stress-free!

Creative collaboration during a graffiti company outing

Local culture

Tshikapa is a city known for its vibrant energy and its deep connection to the diamond industry, but there is a growing hunger for modern creative expression here. By bringing our graffiti showroom experience to the heart of the city, we are blending the traditional grit of Tshikapa with the colourful, contemporary world of street art. We love setting up shop near the banks of the Kasai and Tshikapa rivers, where the natural scenery provides a stunning backdrop to our urban creativity. 🌊

Fun Fact: Did you know that Tshikapa was founded in the early 20th century primarily as a mining town? Today, it is one of the fastest-growing urban centres in DR Congo, making it the perfect place for a street art revolution. Our showroom brings a touch of international flair to the local retail scene, proving that diamonds aren't the only things that shine in this city! 🔥
