Is the graffiti workshop safe for participants with special needs?

Absolutely. Safety is our top priority. we use high-quality spray paints with lower odour levels, and we provide all necessary protective gear, including masks and gloves. Our instructors are trained to supervise the session closely, ensuring everyone uses the equipment correctly and stays safe while having a blast. We keep the environment controlled and supportive at all times.

Do participants need any prior art experience?

Not at all! Our workshops are designed for all skill levels, especially beginners. Our artists are expert at breaking down the process into simple, manageable steps. Whether someone wants to paint a complex shape or just enjoy the sensation of spraying bright colours on a wall, we celebrate every level of creativity. It is all about the experience, not perfection.

Can the workshop be held at our own facility?

Yes, we pride ourselves on being flexible. We can host the workshop at various accessible locations in Salzburg, or we can bring the entire 'mobile studio' to your specific facility or school. As long as there is adequate ventilation and space for the group, we can set up our professional plastic coverings to protect the surroundings and get to work.

How long does a typical session last?

We recommend a duration of 1.5 to 2 hours for our special needs programs. We’ve found this is the 'sweet spot' to keep engagement high without causing fatigue. However, we are happy to adjust the timing based on the specific concentration levels and physical needs of your group. We work at your pace, never rushing the creative process.

What materials are included in the workshop?

We provide everything! This includes premium spray cans in a rainbow of colours, protective overalls or ponchos, gloves, and high-quality masks. We also provide the 'canvas'—which can be a temporary wall, boards, or even individual canvases that participants can take home as a souvenir of their day. You just need to show up in comfortable clothes.

What is the ideal group size for this program?

We generally recommend a minimum group size of 5 to 10 people to keep the energy high, but we can accommodate much larger groups by bringing in additional backup artists. This ensures that every participant gets the one-on-one attention and encouragement they deserve. If you have a specific group size in mind, just let us know and we will scale accordingly.

The experience

Why choose our graffiti program for your group in Salzburg? Because we focus on what can be done, rather than what can't. Here is why our sessions are a hit:

Sensory Engagement: The sound of the spray, the vibration of the can, and the bright colours provide a fantastic sensory experience. 🌈
Confidence Building: Seeing a large-scale piece of art that you helped create provides an immediate sense of pride and ownership.
Fully Adaptive: We adjust our techniques, from using stencil caps to assisting with hand-over-hand spray control.
Inclusive Atmosphere: There are no 'mistakes' in graffiti, making it the perfect stress-free medium for self-expression. 🔥
Expert Instructors: Our artists aren't just talented painters; they are patient mentors who love connecting with people.
Stress-Free Planning: With backup artists and no-upfront-pay, your event is guaranteed to go smoothly.

Safety briefing: We start the day with a gentle, clear introduction to the equipment and safety gear.
Colour selection: Participants choose their favourite vibrant shades from our professional spray can collection.
Practice strokes: We begin with simple 'dot and line' exercises on the wall to get everyone comfortable with the pressure of the spray.
Collaborative painting: Under the guidance of our artists, the group starts filling in the main design, working together as a team.
Detailing and 'Pop': We help add those final outlines and highlights that make the artwork truly stand out.

Local culture

Salzburg might be famous for its Baroque architecture and classical music heritage, but the city also embraces a vibrant, modern underground scene. From the legal graffiti walls along the Salzach river to the hidden gems in the Lehen district, Salzburg is a city that appreciates the power of public art. Our workshops tap into this local spirit, offering a contemporary way to engage with the city's culture beyond the usual tourist path. 🎨

Fun Fact: Did you know that Salzburg has dedicated 'Free Walls' where street artists can legally practice? We love bringing our groups to these spots to soak up the authentic atmosphere of the local graffiti community!

Pricing

Our workshops are priced to be accessible, with costs typically ranging from €30 to €60 per person. The final price depends on the number of participants, the chosen location, and the specific materials required for your group's needs. We believe in transparency and flexibility, which is why we never ask for upfront payments.
