Is the graffiti summer camp safe for children?

Safety is our absolute number one priority. We provide high-quality protective masks, gloves, and overalls to keep everyone clean and safe. Our professional artists are trained to supervise youth groups, ensuring that the spray cans are used correctly in well-ventilated outdoor areas. We create a controlled environment where kids can express themselves freely without any risks, giving parents total peace of mind while the kids have the time of their lives.

Do the kids need prior art experience?

Not at all! Our Blida summer camp workshops are designed for all skill levels, from total tech-savvy teens to younger kids who have never picked up a marker. Our artists break down the process into simple, easy-to-follow steps. We start with basic lines and shapes before moving on to complex pieces. Most participants are amazed at how much they improve in just a single session!

What should the participants wear to the workshop?

We suggest wearing old clothes and comfortable trainers that you don't mind getting a bit of 'artistic' character on. While we provide full protective gear including overalls and gloves, spray paint has a way of finding its way onto sleeves or shoes! It's better to be safe and wear something that won't matter if it gets a tiny splash of vibrant Blida colour.

Where in Blida do the workshops take place?

We are fully flexible! We can host the summer camp activities at your specific location in Blida, or we can arrange a suitable outdoor spot or 'Hall of Fame' nearby. As long as we have a well-ventilated space and permission to paint (or boards to paint on), we can bring the graffiti magic to you. We handle all the logistics and setup.

How long does a typical graffiti session last?

Generally, our summer camp sessions last between 1.5 to 3 hours. This allows enough time for an introduction, sketching, practice, and the creation of a final masterpiece. However, we can easily adapt the duration to fit your camp's specific daily schedule or combine it with other activities. We want to ensure every child finishes their work feeling proud!

What materials are included in the price?

Our standard summer camp package is all-inclusive. We provide premium spray cans in a huge variety of colours, caps for different line widths, protective gear, masks, and the canvases or boards we'll be painting on. There are no hidden costs; we bring everything needed to transform a group of students into a crew of street artists. You just bring the energy!

What is your booking and payment policy?

We understand that plans can change. One of the best parts about booking with Graffitifun is that we don't require upfront payments. You can organise your summer camp schedule with confidence knowing that you pay after the workshop is completed. Plus, we have backup artists available to ensure your event goes ahead even if there’s a last-minute hitch.

Safety First: We provide top-tier protective gear and professional supervision for a 100% safe experience. 💪
Stress-Free Booking: No upfront payment and backup artists ready to go—we handle all the stress for you. ✨
Team Spirit: Our collaborative murals encourage kids to work together, communicate, and support each other's ideas. 🤝
Memorable Souvenirs: Whether it's a photo or a canvas they take home, the memories of this workshop last a lifetime. 📸

Step by step

Intro & inspiration: We kick things off with a high-energy intro about the history of street art and show some epic examples to get the campers' creative juices flowing.
Safety first: Before touching a can, everyone gets geared up. We explain how to use the masks and gloves properly and cover the essential do's and don'ts of spray painting.
Mastering the nozzle: Our pros demonstrate basic techniques like 'fading', 'outlining', and 'filling'. Campers get to practice their first lines on a test board.
Sketching the vision: Every great piece starts with a plan. Participants grab paper and pens to sketch out their personal tags or a collective group concept.
The big outline: It's time! Campers take to the main boards or canvases to map out their designs using light colours under the guidance of our artists.
Adding the vibe: This is where the magic happens. We help the kids choose colour palettes and fill in their designs, teaching them how to layer colours for maximum impact.
Details & highlights: We show them how to add those professional touches—3D effects, 'shines', and sharp outlines that make the artwork pop.
The grand reveal: We step back and admire the work! The group takes photos with their masterpieces, creating a permanent memory of their Blida summer.
Tidying up: We handle all the clean-up, leaving the site as clean as it was when we arrived, while the kids go home with their heads full of new skills.

Local culture

Blida is famously known as the City of Roses, but we’re here to add a few more colours to that palette! Nestled at the foot of the stunning Tell Atlas mountains, Blida provides a magnificent backdrop for outdoor creativity. The city's youthful energy makes it the perfect spot for a street art revolution. We take inspiration from the local scenery—from the lush greenery of Chréa to the bustling streets of the city centre—incorporating local pride into every mural we create.

Fun Fact: Did you know Blida was founded back in the 16th century? While the architecture is historic, the modern youth of Blida are totally ready to embrace contemporary urban culture through street art! 🏘️🔥

By bringing our workshops to Blida, we’re not just teaching art; we’re connecting the city's rich history with the modern toolset of the next generation. It’s about building a community of young creators right here in Blida.
