Do I need previous graffiti experience to take part in this training?

Our training is designed for all skill levels. While having a background in art or education is a fantastic foundation, you don't need to be a professional graffiti artist to join. Our expert instructors will teach you the technical aspects of spray painting, can control, and safety from the ground up, ensuring you feel confident and capable of demonstrating these skills to your future students. It's more about your passion for learning!

How do you help us teach the 'spirit' of street art, not just the technique?

The 'vibe' is everything! We focus on creating a supportive, non-traditional classroom environment where mistakes are seen as part of the creative process. Beyond the technical skills, we provide شما strategy for managing group dynamics, encouraging student participation, and fostering a sense of community. You’ll learn how to switch from being a 'teacher' to being a 'mentor' who inspires students to express their own unique voices through street art.

What health and safety protocols are covered in the professional development?

Safety is our absolute priority. We provide comprehensive training on the correct use of protective gear, including FFP3 masks and nitrile gloves. You'll learn how to set up a safe outdoor ventilation area, how to store materials properly, and how to instruct students on the safe handling of aerosol cans. By the end of the session, you’ll have a full checklist to ensure every workshop you lead is 100% safe.

Will I learn about the best materials and budget-friendly options for my school?

We understand that school budgets can be tight. During the training, we provide a detailed list of essential high-quality paints and caps, as well as cost-effective alternatives for practice. We also offer guidance on 'reusable' surfaces like stretch-wrapped pillars or portable wooden panels, allowing you to run multiple workshops without the need for expensive permanent walls or new canvases every time.

Can this training help me integrate street art into my existing curriculum? archaeology?

Absolutely! Graffiti is a brilliant tool for teaching much more than just painting. We show you how to link street art to history, social studies, typography, and even geometry and chemistry (the science of paint!). You’ll leave with several lesson plan templates that you can immediately adapt to fit your specific curriculum requirements in Batna or elsewhere. It’s about making art relevant and exciting for the next generation.

What is the payment process for schools and educational institutions?

While we don't require an upfront deposit to secure your booking, we do ask for payment via invoice or bank transfer once the session is complete. This keeps things simple and stress-free for you and your school administration. We’ll send over all the necessary paperwork, including VAT details (if applicable), so the process is smooth and professional from start to finish. We make the admin as easy as the painting!

Local culture

Batna is a city with a soul that bridges the ancient and the modern. As the gateway to the Aurès Mountains and the breathtaking ruins of Timgad, there is a deep local appreciation for history and visual storytelling. Our art teacher training taps into this rich heritage, encouraging teachers to blend traditional Algerian motifs with modern street art techniques. The youth culture in Batna is booming, and there's no better way to engage them than through a medium that speaks their language! 🎨

Fun Fact: Did you know Batna is nicknamed the "City of the Martyrs"? This strong sense of local pride and identity makes it the perfect place to explore how street art can be used for community storytelling and social expression! 🔥

From the bustling stalls of the city centre to the quiet outskirts, we believe every corner of Batna can benefit from the positive, creative energy of street art. We love helping local teachers bring this global art form into their local classrooms.
