Do I need to be an expert artist to join this training?

Absolutely not! Our Caracas workshops are designed to take you from a curious beginner to a confident instructor. We focus on the fundamental techniques—cap control, layering, and 'the flow'—that are easy to learn and even easier to teach. If you can hold a spray can, you can master this art form under our guidance. We provide all the professional tips you need to look like a street art veteran in front of your class.

What specific skills will I gain for my teaching career?

You'll be fully equipped to lead exciting graffiti sessions in schools, community centres, or private workshops. You will understand how to manage large groups, handle materials safely, and plan a curriculum that keeps students engaged from start to finish. Plus, you’ll have the unique 'Graffitifun' certification that proves you’ve been trained by some of the best street artists in the industry. It’s a fantastic way to boost your CV and creative portfolio.

What safety measures and equipment are included?

Safety is our top priority. We provide high-quality FFP3 masks, gloves, and protective suits for every participant. During the training, we specifically dedicate time to teaching you how to manage 'spray zones' safely with your future students, ensuring proper ventilation and skin protection. We also use premium spray cans with lower odour profiles to ensure a comfortable learning environment for everyone involved.

How long does the training session last?

Our standard teacher training workshops in Caracas generally last between 2 and 3 hours. This gives us enough time to cover the theoretical history of street art, the technical spray-painting skills, and the pedagogical methods for teaching others. If you’re looking for a more intensive deep-dive, we can also organise full-day 'Masterclasses' that include mural design and advanced shading techniques. Just let us know what fits your schedule best!

Is there a minimum or maximum group size?

We are incredibly flexible! Whether you are a solo art teacher looking for local professional development or part of a large school faculty, we can accommodate you. Small groups are great for intensive one-on-one coaching, while larger groups (up to 30+) create a brilliant collaborative vibe where you can practice 'team-teaching' scenarios. For very large groups, we simply bring in more of our professional background artists to ensure everyone gets attention.

How does the payment process work?

We believe in 100% satisfaction, which is why we don't require any upfront payment when you book your Caracas workshop. You can settle the balance after the training session! We accept various payment methods, but we always suggest requesting a specific quote first so we can tailor the price to your group size and your specific training goals. It’s all about making the process as stress-free as possible for you.

Will I get to create my own artwork during the session?

Of course! While our core focus is on the training, we make sure you have plenty of time to create your own individual masterpiece on a high-quality canvas or a designated street wall. In fact, we encourage you to film your process so you have visual aids to show your students later. You’ll leave the workshop not just with new skills, but with a physical piece of art that proves your proficiency.

The experience

Why choose graffiti for your professional development in Caracas? It’s simple: it’s the most engaging way to connect with modern students. Our training gives you the tools to bridge the gap between traditional art and contemporary urban culture. Check out these benefits:

Instant Student Engagement: Graffiti is "cool" by default—you'll have your students' undivided attention from the first spray! 🎤
Low-Stakes Creativity: Learn how to teach art without the fear of "making mistakes," fostering a safer emotional environment in your classroom.
Safety Certification: We teach you the professional standards for using aerosols around young people, keeping everyone safe and sound. 💪
Practical Skill Building: From lettering to colour theory, you’ll master techniques that are applicable to all forms of visual art.
Bespoke Curriculum: We don't do "one-size-fits-all." We help you tailor a graffiti programme that fits your specific school goals. ✨
Community Connection: Use your new skills to lead community mural projects that make your school a local landmark.

Step by step

Intro & Street Art History: We start with a bang! Learn the fascinating evolution of graffiti from New York subways to Caracas' bustling streets. This provides the context you’ll share with your pupils.
Health & Safety Briefing: Master the 'safety-first' approach. We’ll teach you how to set up a safe spray zone, manage equipment, and ensure every student stays protected.
The Toolkit: Get hands-on with different nozzles (caps), spray cans, and surfaces. You’ll learn which tools work best for different age groups and skill levels.
Basic Can Control: Practice the primary strokes—lines, dots, and fades. We show you the common mistakes students make and how to correct them instantly. ✨
Lettering & Style: Dive into 'Tags', 'Throw-ups', and 'Pieces'. You’ll learn how to help students find their own artistic 'name' and develop a unique visual style.
The Teaching Blueprint: We reveal our secret sauce—how to structure a 2-hour workshop so that every participant leaves with a finished piece they are proud of. 🏆
Collaborative Mural: Work together with fellow educators on a group project. This mirrors the classroom environment and helps you practice group management techniques.
Individual Masterpiece: Put all your skills to the test on your own canvas. This is your time to shine and create a portfolio piece!
Review & Certification: We wrap up with a feedback session, answering your specific classroom questions, and handing out your training certificates. Ready to teach!
