Do we need any previous drawing or painting skills?

Absolutely! No prior artistic experience is needed to have a blast. Our professional artists are there to guide you through every step, from holding the can correctly to mastering cool shading effects. It’s all about having a laugh with your mates and trying something completely new in the heart of Arequipa. You’ll be surprised at how quickly you pick up the techniques and create something impressive.

What should we wear to the graffiti workshop?

We provide all the necessary safety gear, including high-quality respiratory masks, gloves, and protective overalls to keep your clothes clean. However, we always recommend wearing comfortable clothes and shoes that you don't mind getting a tiny bit of paint on—just in case! Since Arequipa can get quite sunny, wearing a hat and sunscreen for outdoor sessions is also a smart move for your group.

How long does the workshop session last?

A standard bachelor party workshop usually lasts between 1.5 and 2.5 hours. This gives you enough time to learn the basics, practice your tags, and complete a large-scale collaborative mural or individual canvases. If you have a specific schedule to keep for your big day out in Arequipa, let us know and we can tailor the duration to fit your itinerary perfectly.

Can you come to our location or do we go to a studio?

We are very flexible! We can host the workshop at one of our vibrant local street art spots in Arequipa, or we can bring the party to you. If you have a private backyard, a rented villa, or a specific event space with adequate ventilation, our team will set up everything on-site. We handle all the prep and the cleanup, so you can focus on the fun.

Is the spray paint safe to use for everyone?

The health and safety of your group are our top priorities. we provide professional-grade spray paint and FFP-certified masks to ensure everyone breathes easy. Our artists are highly experienced in managing groups and will give a full safety briefing before any paint starts flying. We ensure a controlled, professional environment where the only thing you need to worry about is your creative flow.

What is your cancellation and payment policy?

We understand that plans can change when organising a big trip to Peru. That’s why we don't require any upfront payment—you simply pay after the workshop is completed. Additionally, we have backup artists on standby to ensure that your event goes ahead no matter what. If you need to reschedule, just give us a shout as early as possible and we’ll do our best.

Step by step

The warm-up: Your group meets our pro street artists at the location. We start with a quick intro to the history of graffiti and a look at some local Arequipa styles.
Safety first: We suit everyone up in protective gear and masks. Safety is key, especially when you're getting ready to let loose with the spray cans!
Master the nozzle: Learn the essential techniques—lines, dots, and fades. Our artists show you how to control the pressure for different effects.
Sketching the vision: Group brainstorm session! We’ll help you sketch out a design that celebrates the bachelor or bachelorette, incorporating nicknames or inside jokes.
Fill and flare: This is where the colour comes in. You'll start filling in your piece, learning how to layer colours for that professional "pop".
Outlining and details: Add the finishing touches. Crisp outlines and "highlights" turn a good piece of art into a masterpiece.
The big reveal: Step back and admire the group's work. It's the perfect time for a legendary group photo with your finished mural.
Final debrief: We wrap up the session, and if you've worked on canvases, you get to take your unique souvenirs home!

Local culture

Arequipa, known for its stunning sillar stone architecture, is also a hidden gem for urban creativity. While the historic centre is a UNESCO World Heritage site, the surrounding barrios are becoming a canvas for local Peruvians to express their heritage through modern street art. From colourful murals in Yanahuara to hidden tags near the Chili River, the city’s creative pulse is everywhere.

Fun Fact: Did you know that some of the street art in Arequipa incorporates "Sillar" dust effects to pay homage to the city's volcanic origins? It’s a unique fusion of ancient tradition and modern spray-can culture!

Our workshops tap into this local energy, giving your bachelor party an authentic taste of the Peruvian urban scene while you enjoy the incredible views of Misti Volcano. 🌋
