Is the graffiti workshop safe for school-aged children?

Absolutely! We use high-quality spray paints that are low-odor, and our workshops are held in well-ventilated outdoor areas or specially set-up zones in Jurong East. We provide every student with professional-grade protective gear, including masks, gloves, and overalls. Our instructors are experienced in managing school groups and prioritize safety protocols above all else to ensure a worry-free experience for teachers and parents.

How long does a typical school workshop last?

Our school workshops in Jurong East usually last between 2 to 3 hours. This gives us enough time for a solid introduction, a demonstration by our artists, practice runs, and the final creation of a large-scale mural or individual canvases. We can also adjust the timing to fit into your specific school timetable or double-period slots if needed. Just let us know your schedule!

What is the maximum group size for a school event?

We can work with groups of all sizes! Whether it's a small art club of 15 students or an entire primary 6 cohort of 100+, we have the staff and resources to handle it. For larger groups, we simply bring in more of our professional graffiti artists to maintain a low student-to-teacher ratio, ensuring everyone gets the attention they need to create something amazing.

Do we need to travel to a specific location in Jurong East?

While we love the vibe of Jurong East's public spaces, we typically bring the workshop directly to your school campus. This is easier for logistics and student safety. If your school doesn't have a suitable outdoor wall or area, we can set up temporary wooden partitions or use large transportable canvases. We bring the 'street' to your school courtyard or sports hall!

Are these workshops suitable for students with no art background?

We believe art is for everyone! Our workshops are designed to be inclusive and accessible. We've successfully hosted sessions for students with diverse learning needs and physical disabilities. Because graffiti is about expression rather than 'perfect' technique, it's a great medium for boosting confidence in all students. Let us know any specific requirements, and we will tailor our approach.

How does the payment process work for Singapore schools?

We're all about convenience! At Graffitifun, we don't require any upfront payment for school bookings. You can book your date and confirm the details with us first. Payment is handled after the workshop is successfully completed. This makes it much easier for school administration and finance departments to process the necessary paperwork without any financial risk to the school.

Safety Briefing: Our artists start with a talk on safety, tool handling, and the history of street art.
Technique Demo: We show the kids how to shake the cans, control the pressure, and create different spray effects.
Practice Session: Each student gets a chance to practice their 'tag' or basic shapes on temporary boards.
Mural Creation: The main event! Students collaborate on a large mural or work on individual canvases.
Detailing: We help the students add highlights and outlines to make their artwork really 'pop'.
Group Photo: We celebrate the final masterpiece with a photo session in front of the finished work.

Local culture

Jurong East is quickly becoming the 'Second CBD' of Singapore, but it’s the local character that makes it special. From the bustling hubs like JEM and Westgate to the serene greenery of the Jurong Lake Gardens, this neighborhood is full of inspiration. We love bringing street art here because Jurong East represents the perfect blend of modern infrastructure and community spirit. 🌳

Fun Fact: Did you know that Jurong was once a hilly jungle and swampland? Today, it's a hub of innovation. Our workshops help students tap into that same spirit of transformation—changing a blank space into something extraordinary! 🎤

Pricing

Our school workshops are priced affordably to ensure as many students as possible can join the fun. Prices typically range from S$45 to S$100 per student, depending on the number of participants and the specific project (e.g., individual canvases vs. a permanent mural).

No upfront payment is required! We understand school administrative processes, so you pay only after the workshop is done. ✅
