Is the graffiti workshop safe for school students?

Absolutely! Safety is our number one priority. We provide high-quality respiratory masks, protective gloves, and overalls to all students. Our professional instructors in Ústí nad Labem are experienced in managing school groups and ensure that every student follows safety protocols while using the spray cans. We use low-odour, high-quality paints that are safe for outdoor educational environments.

How long does a typical school workshop last?

A standard school workshop in Ústí nad Labem typically lasts between 2 and 3 hours. This allows enough time for an introductory safety briefing, a crash course in sketching and spray techniques, and the actual creation of the final artwork. We can also adjust the timing to fit into your specific school timetable or double-period schedule if needed.

Do we need to provide any materials?

We bring everything needed for the ultimate creative day! This includes premium spray paint in a rainbow of colours, protective gear (masks, gloves, suits), caps for different spray widths, and surfaces to paint on. We can set up large plastic film walls or provide individual canvases depending on the project goals. You just need to bring your students and their enthusiasm!

Where in Ústí nad Labem do the workshops take place?

We are very flexible! We can host the workshop directly on your school grounds in Ústí nad Labem—all we need is an outdoor area or a well-ventilated space. Alternatively, we can help find a legal graffiti wall in the city or arrange a local venue. If the weather is bad, we have backup plans to ensure the workshop still goes ahead successfully.

What is the recommended age for participants?

We recommend our school workshops for students aged 10 and up. This ensures they have the physical coordination to handle the spray cans and can focus on the artistic techniques. However, we can adapt our teaching methods for slightly younger groups if they have a strong interest in art and are well-supervised by their teachers.

Do students need prior art experience or talent?

Not at all! Our workshops are designed for all skill levels. Our professional artists are great at breaking down the process into simple, achievable steps. Whether a student is a naturally gifted artist or has never held a spray can before, they will leave the session with a piece of art they can be genuinely proud of. It is all about the experience!

Is there an upfront payment required?

At Graffitifun, we believe in a stress-free booking experience for educational institutions. You do not need to pay anything upfront. Once the workshop is completed and everyone is happy with the results, we will handle the administration and payment. This allows you to book with confidence, knowing that we are committed to delivering a high-quality, 100% satisfactory experience.

The experience

Why choose a Graffitifun workshop for your school? Beyond just being incredibly fun, our sessions offer genuine educational value:

Boost Confidence: Students see immediate results and realize they can create something impressive from scratch. 🏆
Teamwork in Action: Large-scale murals require communication and collaboration to get the proportions just right. 💪
Creative Problem Solving: From choosing colour palettes to fixing "runs," students learn to think on their feet.
Cultural Education: We discuss the transition from illegal tagging to professional mural art and the importance of respecting public space. 🎤
Stress Relief: The tactile nature of spray painting is a fantastic way for students to decompress and focus on the present moment. ✨

We also offer these sessions for kids parties and festivals if you are planning a larger community event!

Step by step

Inspiration & Sketching: We start by brainstorming ideas and sketching out basic shapes on paper to plan the masterpiece. ✨
Safety Briefing: Students get kitted out in protective masks and suits while we explain the "dos and don'ts" of spray painting.
Technique Training: Our pro artists demonstrate how to control the can, create clean lines, and use different "caps" for various effects.
The Outline: Time to hit the wall! Students transfer their sketches to the surface using light spray strokes. 🔥
Filling In: This is where the colour comes to life. Participants learn how to blend shades and create vibrant gradients.
The 3D Effect: We teach how to add shadows and highlights to make the graffiti "pop" off the surface. 🎨
The Final Outline: Using a steady hand, students add sharp borders to define their work and make it look professional.
Clean Up & Chill: We pack up the gear and leave the site spotless, while the group admires their brand-new street art.
Group Photo: A celebratory shot of the class in front of their finished mural to remember the day! 📸
