Do I need any previous drawing or painting experience?

No prior art skills are needed at all! Our workshops in Woodlands are designed for absolute beginners. Our professional street artists will guide you through every step, from holding the spray can correctly to layering colors and creating sharp outlines. We focus on the fun and the process of creation, so just bring your enthusiasm and we will handle the rest! 🎨

Is the graffiti workshop safe?

Safety is our number one priority. We provide all participants with high-quality protective gear, including masks, gloves, and overalls to keep your clothes clean. We use professional-grade spray paints and conduct our sessions in well-ventilated outdoor or semi-outdoor spaces in Woodlands. Our artists provide a comprehensive safety briefing before anyone touches a can, ensuring a worry-free creative environment for everyone involved. ✨

What should I wear to the workshop?

We recommend wearing comfortable clothes and shoes that you don't mind getting a tiny bit of paint on—just in case! While we provide protective suits and gloves, street art can sometimes be a bit messy. Since Singapore's weather can be quite humid, lightweight and breathable fabrics are definitely your best bet for staying cool while you create your masterpiece in the sun. 👕

Can I take my artwork home with me?

Absolutely! While many of our workshops take place on our dedicated practice walls, we also offer sessions where you can paint on high-quality canvases or boards. This means you get to take your unique piece of Woodlands street art home with you to hang on your wall! Just let us know your preference when booking so we can prepare the right materials for your group. 🏆

How long does a typical session last?

Our standard public art workshops usually last between 1.5 to 3 hours. This gives us enough time for a proper introduction, a demonstration of techniques, individual practice, and the final creation of your large-scale piece. If you have a specific schedule or are planning a shorter team-bonding session, we can definitely customize the duration to fit your needs perfectly. ⏱️

Do I need to pay in advance to book?

We believe in a hassle-free experience, which is why we don't require any upfront payment! You can book your slot, and payment is only settled after the workshop is completed. We accept various payment methods for your convenience. This way, you can book with total peace of mind, knowing that we are committed to delivering a fantastic experience before any money changes hands. 💰

Step by step

Meet your artist: Gather at our designated Woodlands creative spot and meet your professional graffiti mentor for the day.
Design briefing: Learn about the history of street art and brainstorm the concept for your public art piece.
Master the gear: Get fitted with your protective mask and gloves, and learn how to swap nozzles for different spray effects.
Practice strokes: Head to the "practice zone" to try your hand at lines, dots, and fades on a trial surface.
Outline the vision: Once you're confident, we'll sketch the main design onto the large-scale wall or canvas.
Color explosion: Start filling in your masterpiece! This is where the energy peaks as the wall comes to life with vibrant SGD colors.
Detailing and 3D: Learn the pro secrets of adding highlights, shadows, and "force" outlines to make your work pop.

Creative collaboration during a graffiti company outing

Local culture

Woodlands is more than just a gateway to the north; it's a neighborhood buzzing with hidden creative pockets and a strong sense of community. While many know it for the Causeway, we see it as a canvas of possibilities. Our workshops often draw inspiration from the lush greenery of Admiralty Park and the industrial-cool aesthetic of the Woodlands industrial hubs. We love bringing the raw energy of street art to this part of the island, giving participants a chance to contribute to the local "vibe" in a safe and legal environment. 🇸🇬

Fun Fact: Did you know that Woodlands was once home to numerous rubber plantations and poultry farms? Today, we're swapping the farming tools for spray cans to grow a different kind of culture—street art! 🌳✨
