Why choose us in Ostrava?

Why choose an anti-vandalism program in Ostrava? It’s not just about painting; it’s about community and perspective. Here’s why it works:

Professional Mentorship: Learn from real street artists who know the Ostrava scene inside out.
Beautify the City: We focus on creating art that the whole neighbourhood can be proud of. 🏘️
Skill Building: Participants learn patience, planning, and teamwork through a massive collaborative mural.

Unique Memories: In a city of steel, leave a mark that’s full of colour! 🌈

How it works

Meet the crew: We start with a high-energy introduction to your professional graffiti instructors and a safety briefing.
The art of respect: A short, engaging chat about the history of street art and the importance of legal spots versus vandalism.
Master the tools: Learn the basics of nozzle control – how to make thin lines, fat drips, and smooth gradients.
Sketching the vision: Participants grab markers to outline their initial ideas on paper or directly on the practice surface.
Fill and flow: Start applying the first layers of colour, learning how to fill large areas efficiently without wasting paint.
Developing style: Our artists move through the group giving 1-on-1 tips on 'style' – from 3D effects to outlines.
The final outline: The most satisfying part! Sharp outlines make the artwork pop and bring the whole project to life.
Detailing and flares: Add highlights, shines, and backgrounds to give the piece a professional 'mural' finish.
Group photo and wrap-up: We celebrate the new legal masterpiece with a photo op and a discussion on future creative outlets.

Frequently asked questions

How does a graffiti workshop help prevent vandalism?

The anti-vandalism program is a proactive educational tool. By giving participants a dedicated space and professional guidance, we channel their creative energy into legitimate street art. We teach the 'graffiti code' – respecting private property and heritage sites – while providing a thrilling outlet for self-expression. It’s about transforming potential 'vandalism' into community-enhancing public art through understanding and skill development. It's a win-win for the city and the artists.

Do participants need any prior art skills?

Absolutely! No prior artistic experience is needed to join our Ostrava workshops. Our professional instructors break down the process into simple, manageable steps, from basic can control to layering colours. Whether you’re a complete beginner or have a creative streak, we ensure every participant walks away with a piece of art they are proud of. It’s all about the process and having fun while learning.

What safety measures are in place during the session?

Safety is our number one priority. We provide high-quality protective gear, including masks, gloves, and overalls to protect your clothing. We use professional spray paints and conduct our sessions in well-ventilated areas or outdoor locations. Our artists are experienced in managing groups and ensure that all equipment is used correctly and safely throughout the entire duration of the workshop. Just bring your enthusiasm and we handle the rest!

What is the ideal group size for this program?

For our Ostrava anti-vandalism programs, we typically host groups ranging from 10 to 30 people, but we can accommodate larger numbers with additional artists. For private events like bachelor parties or company days, smaller groups are also welcome. We maintain a high artist-to-participant ratio to ensure everyone gets personalised tips and support. If you have a specific group size in mind, just let us know and we’ll tailor the setup.

How long does a typical workshop last?

A standard anti-vandalism graffiti workshop usually lasts between 2 and 3 hours. This allows enough time for the educational introduction, practice sessions, and the creation of a final masterpiece. We can adjust the duration slightly to fit into school schedules or corporate event timelines. We find this timeframe is the 'sweet spot' for keeping energy high and ensuring everyone finishes their artwork without feeling rushed.

What happens if it rains on the day of the workshop?

Weather in Ostrava can be unpredictable, but we’ve got you covered! We have access to several indoor locations and covered outdoor areas where we can spray safely regardless of rain. If the weather looks particularly bad for an outdoor event, we will coordinate with you to move the session to one of our backup spots or reschedule. Use our 'Backup Artist' guarantee for peace of mind when booking.

Are all materials included in the price?

Everything is included! We provide the spray cans in a wide variety of vibrant colours, protective masks, gloves, and coveralls. We also provide the 'canvas' – whether that’s a temporary wall or individual panels. You don't need to bring any supplies at all. We recommend wearing comfortable shoes and old clothes just in case, but our protective gear is very effective. We take care of all the setup and clean-up.
