Why choose us in Lodz?

Choosing an activity for groups with special needs requires care, and we’ve spent years perfecting our approach. Here is why our Lodz workshops stand out:

  • Sensory satisfaction: The tactile feeling of the spray can and the visual impact of bright colours provide a unique sensory experience. 🌈
  • Confidence boost: Nothing beats the pride of seeing a giant, colourful mural and knowing "I made that!"
  • Tailored pacing: We don't rush. We follow the rhythm of the participants, ensuring a stress-free environment.
  • Professional empathy: Our artists aren't just great at art; they are passionate about making people happy and feel included. ❤️
  • Worry-free booking: With backup artists always available and no upfront payment, your event is in safe hands.
  • Full mobility: We can bring the workshop to your facility in Lodz or host you at one of our accessible street art spots.

How it works

  1. Initial consultation: Reach out to us to discuss the specific needs and abilities of your group in Lodz so we can tailor the session.
  2. Design a theme: Choose a theme or a set of colours that resonates with the participants to make the experience truly personal.
  3. Safety briefing: We start the day by putting on our 'space suits' (overalls and masks) and learning how to use the equipment safely.
  4. First lines: Participants practice 'tagging' or making simple shapes to get used to the pressure of the spray can nozzle.
  5. Colour filling: This is the fun part! Everyone chooses their favourite colours to fill in the larger areas of the design.
  6. Artist assistance: Our professional graffiti artists help with outlines and 'cuts' to make the artwork pop and look professional.
  7. Final touches: We add highlights and shadows to give the piece depth, ensuring every participant feels like a street art pro.
  8. Group photo: We celebrate the achievement with a group photo in front of the finished masterpiece to capture the memories!

Frequently asked questions

Is the workshop safe for participants with sensory sensitivities?

Absolutely! At Graffitifun, safety and comfort are our top priorities. We provide protective overalls, gloves, and high-quality masks to ensure everyone stays clean and breathes easy. Our workshops in Lodz are held in accessible locations, and we use high-standard spray paint that is easy to handle. Our artists are also trained to supervise the session closely, making sure everyone feels secure and supported throughout the creative process.

How do you adapt the tools for different abilities?

We pride ourselves on our flexibility. Our Lodz team of artists is experienced in working with various physical and cognitive needs. Whether it is adjusting the height of the boards for wheelchair users or using larger nozzle caps for easier spraying, we tailor the experience to the individual. Before we start, just let us know about any specific requirements, and we will make sure the setup is perfect for your group.

How long does a typical session last?

Our standard special needs sessions in Lodz typically last between 1.5 to 2 hours. This timeframe is usually perfect for keeping energy levels high without causing fatigue. However, we are happy to adjust the duration if you feel a shorter or longer session would better suit your group's concentration levels. We work at your pace, ensuring no one ever feels rushed or overwhelmed.

What is the ideal group size for this workshop?

For our special needs programs, we recommend smaller groups to ensure everyone gets the 1-on-1 attention they deserve. Usually, a ratio of one artist to 10-12 participants works best, but we can cater to larger groups by bringing in additional backup artists. This ensures that every single person in the Lodz workshop gets the guidance and encouragement they need to create something they are proud of.

Do we need any prior art experience?

Not at all! Our workshops are designed for absolute beginners. We start with the very basics of holding a spray can and making simple lines. The goal in Lodz isn't to create a perfect replica of a masterpiece, but to enjoy the tactile sensation of the paint and the joy of self-expression. Our professional artists will guide you every step of the way, helping as much or as little as needed.

How does the payment process work?

No upfront payment is required! We believe in the quality of our service and want you to feel confident booking with us. You can settle the payment after the workshop has been completed. This 'pay-later' policy is part of our commitment to a stress-free experience for schools, care centres, and families in Lodz. Simply request a quote, book your date, and focus on the fun.

What equipment is included in the package?

We provide everything! Your session in Lodz includes all the spray paint in a vibrant rainbow of colours, protective gear (suited to various sizes), and the canvases or boards we will be painting on. We even bring the inspiration! All you need to bring is a 'can-do' attitude and perhaps some old clothes just in case, though our protective gear is very thorough. We take care of the setup and the cleanup.
