How it works

  1. Introduction & Culture: We start with a high-energy intro about the history of graffiti, moving from its roots to modern Ulsan street art.
  2. Safety Briefing: Students get geared up in protective suits and masks while learning the essential 'dos and don'ts' of spray painting.
  3. The First Line: Artists demonstrate 'can control'—teaching students how distance and pressure change the thickness of the paint.
  4. Sketching the Vision: Under our guidance, students sketch their ideas onto the wall or canvas using light-colored paint.
  5. Filling & Color: This is the fun part! Students learn how to apply vibrant colors and create smooth gradients or 'fades.'
  6. Outline & Detail: We show them how to use high-contrast colors to make their designs 'pop' and look professional.
  7. The 'Tag' Signature: Every student learns to create their own unique tag to sign off their masterpiece.
  8. Group Review: We walk through the finished gallery together, celebrating everyone's creativity and hard work.

Frequently asked questions

Is the spray paint safe for students and kids?

Absolutely! Safety is our top priority for all school events in Ulsan. We provide high-quality respiratory masks, gloves, and protective suits for every student. We also use low-odor spray paint specifically designed for educational environments to ensure a comfortable experience. Our professional artists supervise every movement, ensuring that the cans are used correctly and safely from start to finish.

Do the students need any prior art experience?

Not at all! Our workshops are designed for complete beginners. Our artists start with a clear demonstration of basic techniques, from how to hold the can to making clean lines. We guide the students through every step, ensuring that even those who don't think they are 'artistic' walk away with a piece of work they are truly proud of. It is all about the process!

How long does a typical school workshop last?

The ideal duration for a school workshop is between 1.5 and 2.5 hours. This gives us enough time for a brief history of street art, a safety demo, practice sessions, and the creation of the final masterpiece. We can easily adjust the timing to fit into your school's specific period schedule or double-block afternoon. We are flexible to meet your needs.

Where in Ulsan do the workshops take place?

We can host workshops directly on your school grounds in Ulsan if there is a well-ventilated outdoor area or a large hall with high ceilings. If your school doesn't have a suitable space, don't worry! We have access to several creative 'legal wall' locations around the city where students can paint freely and legally. We'll help you find the perfect spot!

What is the minimum and maximum group size?

We recommend a minimum group size of 10 students to keep the energy high. For larger groups, such as an entire grade level or a full school assembly, we bring in multiple professional artists to ensure every student receives personal attention and guidance. We have the capacity to handle hundreds of students by rotating groups through different creative stations throughout the day.

Can we create one big mural together?

Yes! One of our most popular options for schools is a collaborative mural project. Instead of individual canvases, the students work together on a large-scale design that represents their school values, a specific theme, or their class identity. This is a fantastic team-building exercise that results in a lasting piece of art the school can display with pride for years.
