Step by step

  1. Intro and safety briefing: We kick things off with a high-energy intro about street art culture and a vital safety demo on how to use the gear correctly.
  2. First lines: Students grab their first cans and practice basic pressure control by painting lines, dots, and simple shapes on practice boards.
  3. The tag: Every student learns to design their own unique 'tag' or nickname, focusing on flow and letter structure.
  4. Concept sketching: Whether it's a individual canvas or a group mural, we help the kids sketch out their grand vision using chalk or light paint.
  5. Filling and fading: This is where the color happens! We teach the techniques for smooth fills and cool color gradients (fades).
  6. Outlining: The 'pro' step. Students learn to refine their work with sharp outlines that make the colors pop off the wall.
  7. Detailing and highlights: We add 3D effects, 'shines', and final flourishes to give the artwork that authentic street art look.
  8. The big reveal: We step back as a group to admire the collective work, take photos, and discuss the creative journey.
