Step by step

  1. Intro and safety: We start with a quick meet-and-greet and kit everyone out with masks, gloves, and suits. Safety first!
  2. Sketching the vision: Students grab markers and paper to brainstorm their designs and understand the flow of graffiti letters.
  3. Can control 101: Our pros demonstrate how to shake the can and use different nozzles (caps) for thin or thick lines.
  4. The first spray: Everyone gets a practice board to feel the pressure and get comfortable with the 'flow' of the paint.
  5. Outline and fill: Time to move to the main surface! We help students map out their piece and fill it with vibrant colors.
  6. The 'cut-back' technique: We teach how to clean up edges and make colors pop using professional layering tricks.
  7. Adding details: This is where the magic happens—adding highlights, 3D effects, and those final sharp outlines.
  8. The grand reveal: We take a group photo with the finished masterpiece! A proud moment for every young artist.

Local culture

Street art in Gwangju

Gwangju has always been a city of spirit and expression, known throughout South Korea as a hub for art and democracy. From the stunning galleries of the Gwangju Biennale to the hidden gems in the Penguin Village of Yangnim-dong, creativity is in the city's DNA. Our workshops tap into this local passion, giving Gwangju’s youth a chance to contribute to the city’s glowing reputation for visual arts. 🏙️

Fun Fact: Gwangju is often called the "City of Light" (Bitgoeul). We love teaching students how to use "bright" neon colors in their graffiti to stay true to the city's name! 💡

Pricing

Our workshop pricing is flexible to fit your school's budget. Rates typically range from ₩40,000 to ₩90,000 per person, depending on the number of participants, the duration of the session, and the materials used (e.g., individual canvases versus a communal wall). 💰

We believe in transparency and no hidden costs. Plus, you don't have to pay a won until after the workshop is completed! 🏆
