Frequently asked questions

Do we need to have any artistic skills to participate?

No prior artistic experience is needed! Our Lausanne workshops are specifically designed for beginners. Our professional street artists will guide you through the basics, from how to hold a spray can to advanced layering techniques. You'll be surprised at how quickly you can create something impressive once you learn the fundamental 'can-control' methods. It's all about having fun and being creative together.

What should we wear and do you provide safety gear?

We provide all the necessary protective gear, including high-quality masks, gloves, and disposable overalls to keep your clothes clean. That said, we recommend wearing comfortable shoes and 'work clothes' that you don't mind getting a tiny bit of paint on just in case. Street art is a physical activity, so dress for movement and the Swiss weather if we are working outdoors!

Where exactly in Lausanne does the workshop take place?

We are incredibly flexible! For university groups in Lausanne, we can host the workshop at one of the city's legal graffiti spots for an authentic vibe, or we can bring the entire setup to your campus grounds using our mobile plastic walls or canvases. We can work both indoors and outdoors, ensuring your student event goes ahead regardless of the weather.

How long does a typical session last?

A standard university workshop usually lasts between 1.5 and 2.5 hours. This allows enough time for a brief history of street art, a safety demo, practice sessions, and then the final creation of your masterpiece or collective mural. If you have a specific schedule or a larger student festival to work around, we can easily adapt the timing to suit your needs.

Is the spray paint safe and the environment controlled?

Absolutely! Safety is our number one priority. We use low-odour, high-quality spray paints and provide professional-grade respiratory masks for every student. Our artists are highly experienced in managing large groups and ensuring everyone follows safety protocols. Whether we are on a campus field or at a dedicated art space, we maintain a clean and secure environment for everyone involved.

What are the payment terms and booking guarantees?

We believe in the quality of our experience, so we don't require upfront payments for university bookings. You can book your date and pay after the workshop concludes. We also have a network of backup artists ready to go, so you never have to worry about a last-minute cancellation. We aim to make the booking process as stress-free as possible for student organisers.
