The experience
Why choose our graffiti experience for your after school program? It's more than just spray painting—it's a boost for individual growth!
- Confidence through the roof: Seeing a giant mural they helped create gives kids a massive sense of accomplishment! 🚀
- Authentic street artists: Our instructors aren't just teachers; they are active members of the graffiti scene who live and breathe this art. 🎨
- Total safety focus: We provide professional-grade protective gear and use the safest techniques in the industry. 🛡️
- Teamwork makes the dream work: Collaborating on a large-scale piece teaches students how to communicate and create together. 🤝
- Zero stress booking: With our backup artist system and "pay later" policy, organizing your Nagoya workshop is a breeze. ✨

Step by step
- Intro & safety talk: We kick things off with a quick intro to graffiti culture and a vital safety briefing to make sure everyone knows how to handle the gear properly.
- Meet the cans: Students get their first taste of the spray cans, learning about different nozzles (caps) and how they change the thickness of the lines.
- First lines & dots: Before jumping into big pieces, we practice basic muscle memory—drawing straight lines, perfect dots, and smooth curves on practice surfaces.
- Sketching the vision: Using markers and paper, students sketch out their ideas, focusing on letter structure and 'flow' before moving to the wall.
- The outline phase: Now for the real deal! We show the kids how to scale their sketches onto the large surface using light colors for the initial 'ghost' outline.
- Fill-in & color play: This is where the magic happens! Students choose their palette and learn techniques for solid fills and vibrant color transitions.
- The 'Power Outline' & highlights: We teach them the secret to making art pop—adding a bold outer 'cut' and those crisp white highlights that give graffiti its 3D look.
- The final reveal: We step back, admire the massive collaborative mural, and take plenty of photos of the crew with their finished masterpiece.

Local culture
Street art in Nagoya
Nagoya has a unique, gritty-meets-modern aesthetic that provides the perfect backdrop for street art exploration. While the city is famous for its industrial roots and the magnificent Nagoya Castle, neighborhoods like Osu are bustling with a creative energy that fits the graffiti vibe perfectly. Our workshops tap into this local spirit, encouraging students to draw inspiration from the city's blend of traditional history and futuristic tech. We often discuss how Nagoya's urban landscape can be enhanced through respectful, legal public art.

Our workshop pricing is flexible to fit the needs of different school programs and group sizes. We believe everyone in Nagoya should have a chance to try their hand at graffiti!
