The experience

  • Boosts confidence: Seeing a giant mural they helped create gives kids an incredible "I did that!" feeling! 💪
  • Encourages teamwork: Graffiti is a collaborative sport. Students must communicate and work together to make the mural look awesome. 🤝
  • Hands-on learning: We ditch the textbooks. This is 100% tactile, kinesthetic learning that sticks. 🧠
  • Safe & professional: Our instructors are pros at managing classrooms and prioritize safety above all else. ⛑️
  • Stress-free for teachers: We bring everything, set it all up, and handle the cleanup. You just enjoy the show! ☕
  • Total flexibility: We can come to you anywhere in Nagoya or find a cool local spot to host the session. 📍

Step by step

  1. Intro & safety briefing: We start by introducing the vibrant world of street art and explaining how to use the equipment safely.
  2. The "ghost" sketch: Students learn to plan their design using light strokes and "invisible" movements before the paint hits the wall.
  3. Mastering the nozzle: We teach the kids how to control pressure and distance to create thin lines, fat drips, and cool fades.
  4. Color theory in action: Students pick their palettes, learning which colors pop against each other to make their art "jump" off the surface.
  5. The big fill: This is the fun part! Everyone gets to spray their designated area, filling in the shapes with bold, bright colors.
  6. Outline & highlights: Our artists help the students add the finishing touches—sharp outlines and white highlights that make the work look professional.
  7. The group reveal: We step back and admire the massive, collaborative mural the students have created together.
  8. Cleanup & photos: We handle the mess while you take plenty of photos for the school newsletter or social media!

Local culture

Street art in Nagoya

Nagoya has a unique, gritty charm that beautifully complements the street art scene. While cities like Tokyo are known for neon, Nagoya’s industrial heart makes it the perfect backdrop for bold, graphic graffiti. From the hidden gems in Osu to the modern vibes around Nagoya Station, the city is full of inspiration. Our workshops tap into this local energy, showing students that art isn't just in a museum—it's all around them in the streets of their own city.

Fun Fact: Did you know Nagoya is the home of Kinshachi (golden dolphins)? We often see students incorporating these iconic local symbols into their graffiti designs! 🐬✨
