Does a graffiti workshop encourage illegal vandalism?

Absolutely not! Our Guadalajara anti vandalism program is all about creative expression on designated surfaces. We teach participants to value their environment by showing them that professional street art takes skill, planning, and respect. By providing a legal outlet for their energy, we help redirect the impulse to spray illegally into a constructive and artistic hobby that everyone can appreciate. It is about building pride in the neighbourhood.

What safety measures do you have in place for the workshop?

We take safety very seriously. Every participant receives high quality protective gear, including professional masks with filters, disposable gloves, and protective suits to keep those clothes clean. Our instructors are professional artists who supervise the entire process, ensuring that the spray cans are used correctly and that everyone maintains a safe distance while working. We make sure the environment is ventilated and secure for all ages.

Do I need to be an artist to join the program?

No artistic talent is required! Our workshops are designed for absolute beginners. We start with the basics of how to hold a can and move your arm, then guide you through sketching and filling in your design. Our Guadalajara artists are there to help you every step of the way, so you will leave the session feeling like a pro, regardless of your starting point.

What should I wear to the graffiti session?

We recommend wearing comfortable clothes and shoes that you do not mind getting a bit of paint on. While we provide full protective suits and gloves, sometimes a little bit of spray paint can find its way onto your trainers. It is best to leave your favourite designer gear at home and opt for something practical so you can focus entirely on your masterpiece.

How long does the workshop experience last?

Our standard anti vandalism workshops usually last between 2 and 3 hours. This gives us enough time to cover the history of street art, practice different spray techniques, and complete a full scale mural or individual pieces. If you have a specific time frame in mind for your group or school event, we can certainly adjust the schedule to fit your needs.

Do I need to pay in advance to book a workshop?

One of the best things about Graffitifun is our flexible booking policy. You do not need to pay anything upfront to secure your session. You can book your date and confirm the details, and then payment is only required after the workshop is finished. This makes it much easier for schools or community groups in Guadalajara to organise their events without financial stress.

Where in Guadalajara do the workshops take place?

We can host our workshops at various locations across Guadalajara, including local community centres, school playgrounds, or even at our designated street art zones. If you have a specific venue in mind, just let us know. We carry all the necessary materials to you, including mobile graffiti walls if there is no suitable surface available at your preferred location.

Local culture

Guadalajara is a city that breathes art, from the historic murals of Orozco to the modern street art found in the Americana and Lafayette districts. There is a deep respect for visual storytelling here, and our anti vandalism workshops tap into that local pride. By teaching the youth of the city the difference between a "tag" and a "piece," we help preserve the beauty of Guadalajara while fostering new talent. ✨

Fun fact: Guadalajara is known as the "Pearl of the West" and is the birthplace of many Mexican traditions. Our street art sessions often incorporate these local themes, mixing traditional Mexican iconography with modern graffiti styles. 🎨
