Do I need any previous art experience to join?

Our Guadalajara showroom experiences are designed for everyone! You do not need any prior art skills or creative background to participate. Our professional artists guide you through every single step, from holding the spray can correctly to layering colours like a pro. We focus on fun and expression rather than technical perfection, so even if you can only draw a stick figure, you will leave with a piece of art you are proud of!

What safety measures and gear do you provide?

Safety is our number one priority. We provide high quality protective gear including professional grade masks to filter out fumes, disposable gloves, and protective suits to keep your clothes clean. Our showroom is also well ventilated to ensure a comfortable breathing environment. Our artists give a full safety briefing before anyone touches a spray can, ensuring a worry free creative session for all participants in our Guadalajara studio.

Can I book a private session for a large group?

Absolutely! Our showroom is actually one of the most popular venues for team building, stag and hen do events, and private celebrations. Because we have multiple artists on call, we can accommodate groups of almost any size. We can even customise the theme of the workshop to match your brand or party vibe. Just let us know your group numbers and we will provide a tailored quote for your Guadalajara visit.

What should I wear to the showroom experience?

We recommend wearing comfortable clothes and shoes that you do not mind getting a tiny bit of paint on. While we provide full body protective suits and gloves, graffiti can occasionally be messy. It is best to leave your fancy designer gear at home and opt for something practical so you can focus entirely on your masterpiece without worrying about a stray drop of spray paint!

When do I need to pay for the workshop?

One of the best things about Graffitifun is our flexible booking policy. You do not need to pay anything upfront when you book your session. We believe in the quality of our experiences, so you only pay after the workshop is complete. This takes the stress out of planning and ensures you are 100% happy with the service we provide in the heart of Guadalajara.

How long does the average session last?

A standard showroom creative session usually lasts between 1.5 and 3 hours. This gives us enough time for a proper introduction, practice on the 'training wall', and the final creation of your own canvas or mural section. If you are part of a larger corporate event or a brand activation, we can adjust the timing to fit your specific schedule and requirements.

Step by step

Step 1: Arrival and greetings. Step into our vibrant Guadalajara showroom where you will be met by a professional graffiti artist who will show you around the gallery of local works.
Step 2: Safety first. We get you suited up in your protective gear, including masks and gloves, and give you a quick rundown on how to use the spray cans safely.
Step 3: Sketching the vision. Before you hit the wall, you will spend a few minutes brainstorming and sketching your ideas on paper with guidance from our pros.
Step 4: Can control basics. Learn the technical secrets like distance, pressure, and speed. You will practice making thin lines and thick flares on a dedicated practice surface.
Step 5: Outline and colour. Start your main piece by sketching the outlines in spray paint and then filling them with a palette of bold, vibrant colours.
Step 6: Adding depth. Our artists will teach you how to add shadows, highlights, and 3D effects to make your graffiti literally pop off the surface.
Step 7: Final touches. Clean up those edges with a 'power line' and add your unique tag to sign off on your masterpiece.
Step 8: Photos and wrap up. We help you capture the perfect shots of your work for social media before we conclude the session with a group photo!

Local culture

Guadalajara is widely considered the cultural heart of Mexico, and its street art scene is no exception. From the historic murals of José Clemente Orozco to the modern graffiti found in the trendy Colonia Americana, the city breathes creativity. Our showroom experience is deeply rooted in this local "Tapatío" spirit. We don't just teach you how to paint: we connect you with the local urban culture that makes this city so unique. 🎨
