What should we wear to an outdoor graffiti party?

You can wear whatever you like, as long as you're prepared to get a little bit of spray paint on it! While we provide high-quality protective overalls and gloves, graffiti is a messy art form and accidents can happen in the heat of creativity. We recommend wearing old trainers and comfortable clothes that you don't mind potentially getting a 'colourful makeover' during our Las Piedras outdoor session. Let's get messy!

Do I need any previous art experience?

Absolutely! In fact, most of our guests have never held a spray can before. Our professional artists are expert teachers who will guide you through the process, from basic nozzle control to advanced layering techniques. We provide a supportive, high-energy environment where 'mistakes' are just part of the art. By the end of the session, you'll be amazed at the masterpiece you've helped create.

Is the paint safe to use?

Safety is our primary concern. We use high-quality, low-odour spray paints and provide all necessary protective equipment, including gloves, overalls, and masks. Because we host our sessions in well-ventilated outdoor spaces across Las Piedras, the air stays fresh. Our artists are also trained in safety protocols to ensure everyone has a blast without any risks. You are in very safe (and colourful) hands!

What happens if it rains on the day?

The weather in Uruguay can be unpredictable, but we've got you covered! If rain is forecast for your Las Piedras outdoor party, we can usually arrange a covered outdoor area or a flexible indoor backup location. We always monitor the forecast closely and stay in touch with you. If the weather is truly uncooperative, we’ll work with you to find a solution that keeps the party vibe alive.

How long does a typical workshop last?

Our standard outdoor party workshops typically run between 1.5 to 3 hours. This gives your group plenty of time to learn the techniques, practice your 'tagging' skills, and complete a collaborative large-scale mural. If you have a specific schedule or are combining the workshop with other festivities in Las Piedras, just let us know! We are experts at tailoring the timing to fit your party plans perfectly.

Can we take our artwork home?

Yes! We provide large canvases or boards for your group to work on. While the giant mural usually stays with us (unless you have a very big van!), we can often arrange for individual smaller canvases that guests can take home as a unique souvenir of their Las Piedras party experience. It's the ultimate 'party bag'—a piece of authentic street art created by you!

Is there a minimum or maximum group size?

Flexibility is our middle name. Whether you're a small group of friends or a massive crowd celebrating a major milestone, we can accommodate you. We have a large team of backup artists in Uruguay to ensure that no matter the group size, everyone gets personal attention and plenty of paint time. For very large groups, we simply scale up the materials and the number of instructors.

The experience

Why choose an outdoor graffiti workshop for your next big bash in Las Piedras? Because ordinary is overrated! Here’s why our street art experiences are the talk of the town:

✨ Total Creative Freedom: There are no rules in graffiti! We encourage everyone to express themselves boldly.
🔥 Expert Guidance: Our artists aren't just pros; they're entertainers who keep the energy levels high.
📸 Amazing Memories: You'll end up with incredible photos and a sense of shared achievement that a regular dinner party just can't match.
💪 Stress Relief: There is something incredibly satisfying about the 'hiss' of a spray can—it's the ultimate therapy!
🏆 Unique & Original: Be the one who organised the "party of the year" that everyone is still talking about months later.
🌍 Mobile & Flexible: We bring the party to you, anywhere in the Las Piedras area.

Step by step

Meet the crew: Your professional graffiti artist arrives at the outdoor location with all the gear. We’ll kick things off with a high-energy intro.
The basics: Learn how to handle the can, choose your nozzles (caps), and understand how pressure affects your lines.
Sketching it out: We’ll help you brainstorm a theme or a 'crew name' and sketch the rough outline on our mobile graffiti walls.
First layers: Start filling in the big shapes with bold colours. This is where the energy really starts to build!
Adding details: Learn the 'cut-in' technique to sharpen lines and add those professional-looking highlights and shadows.
The mural reveal: Step back with the group to admire the massive collaborative piece you've created together.
Photoshoot: We’ll take plenty of epic photos of you and your crew in front of your masterpiece for the ultimate social media brag.

Creative collaboration during a graffiti company outing

Local culture

Las Piedras, the "City of 1811", isn't just about historic battles and incredible wine; it's a city with a pulse that beats for creativity. While the city celebrates its heritage at the Battle of Las Piedras Park, the newer generations are looking to the streets to express themselves. Hosting an outdoor graffiti party here connects you to the urban evolution of Uruguay.

Fun Fact: Did you know that Uruguay has some of the most relaxed and supportive street art laws in South America? This has allowed cities like Las Piedras to become open-air galleries where local talent can shine without the 'outlaw' stigma!

From the bustling streets near the shopping mall to the quiet, leafy plazas, the spirit of "Las Piedras" (The Stones) provides a rugged, authentic texture for an outdoor workshop. We love bringing our mobile graffiti setup here because the locals always stop by with a "¡Qué bueno!" 🇦🇾
