Do we need any previous art experience to join?

Absolutely! Most of our guests in Maldonado have never held a spray can before. Our professional artists start with the basics, teaching you how to control the nozzle, manage pressure, and create clean lines. By the end of the session, you'll be amazed at the masterpiece you've created. It's all about having fun and expresssing yourself in a relaxed, outdoor environment.

What should we wear to an outdoor graffiti party?

We recommend wearing old clothes and trainers that you don't mind getting a little 'colourful'. While we provide high-quality protective overalls, shoe covers, and gloves, graffiti can occasionally be messy business. Think of it as your artist's uniform! After all, a little paint splatter is just a souvenir of a great day out in the Uruguayan sun.

Is the spray paint safe to use?

Safety is our top priority. We provide all necessary protective gear, including high-quality masks, gloves, and overalls. We use professional-grade spray paint, and our artists are trained to ensure everyone uses the equipment correctly. Since this is an outdoor event in Maldonado, we also ensure there is plenty of ventilation and space for everyone to create safely and comfortably.

How long does a typical workshop last?

Our outdoor graffiti parties typically last between 1.5 to 3 hours. This gives your group plenty of time to learn the techniques, sketch out ideas, and complete a full-scale mural. We move at a pace that keeps the energy high while ensuring everyone feels proud of their final artwork. We can also tailor the duration to fit your specific event schedule.

What happens if it rains on the day of our party?

The beauty of an outdoor party in Maldonado is that 'the show must go on!' If the weather looks tricky, we have backup plans including portable gazebos or shifting to a covered outdoor spot. We also have a dedicated team of backup artists, so even if an instructor is unwell, your party will never be cancelled. We’ve got you covered!

What is included in the workshop package?

In short: everything! We provide the spray paint, caps, safety gear, canvases or wall space, and the expert guidance of our professional street artists. You just need to bring your group and a sense of adventure. We even handle the clean-up afterwards, so you can head off to your next Maldonado destination hassle-free.

Do I need to pay upfront to book?

We believe in a stress-free booking process. You don't need to pay anything upfront to secure your date in Maldonado. Simply request a quote, confirm your booking, and you can settle the payment after the workshop is complete. This gives you total peace of mind and flexibility while planning your big outdoor celebration.

Step by step

Grab your gear: Once you arrive at our outdoor spot in Maldonado, we’ll get everyone kitted out in protective overalls, gloves, and masks. Safety first, style second!
Meet your mentor: A professional street artist will give you the low-down on graffiti culture and show you how to handle the cans like a pro.
The first spray: You'll start with 'tagging' practice on a practice wall to get a feel for the pressure and flow of the paint.
Design session: Together with your group, you'll brainstorm a theme or a giant mural design. No idea is too wild!
Outline your vision: Learn how to sketch your design onto the canvas or wall using light 'ghost' lines.
Fill it in: This is the fun part! Start layering colours, creating gradients, and watching your collective masterpiece come to life.
Add the 'pop': Our artists will show you how to add those professional touches like sharp outlines, highlights, and 3D shadows.
The big reveal: Step back, take some photos with your crew, and admire the incredible street art you've created under the Maldonado sky.
