Is graffiti safe for a kids' birthday party?

Safety is our top priority! We provide high-quality respiratory masks, gloves, and protective overalls to keep the kids safe and their clothes clean. Our professional artists are experienced in supervising young groups, ensuring a controlled environment where everyone follows safety guidelines while having a blast. We use low-odour professional spray paint specifically designed for ease of use and safety. Your little artists are in very capable hands!

What is the ideal group size for a party?

The sweet spot for a graffiti birthday party is usually between 6 and 15 participants, but we can definitely handle larger groups too! If you have a massive guest list, we simply bring along additional professional artists to ensure every child gets the personal attention and guidance they need to create something they are truly proud of. Just let us know your numbers when booking!

Do the children need any previous art experience?

Not at all! Our workshops are designed for absolute beginners. Our friendly artists start with the basics—how to hold the can, controlling pressure, and making simple lines—before moving onto the masterclass. Whether they are natural-born Picassos or have never touched a spray can before, every child will leave the session with a finished piece of art and a huge smile on their face.

How long does the graffiti workshop last?

A standard kids' graffiti birthday party in Maldonado typically lasts about 2 hours. This gives us enough time for a proper introduction, safety briefing, practice session, and the creation of their final masterpiece. We find this timeframe keeps the energy levels high and the focus sharp, ensuring nobody gets tired before their artwork is finished. We can adjust the duration slightly to fit your specific schedule.

Where in Maldonado can we hold the party?

We are totally flexible! We can host the party at a dedicated outdoor graffiti spot in Maldonado, or if you have a suitable private space like a large garden or a well-ventilated garage, we can bring the party to you. We'll just need to check if the location is appropriate for spray painting. Exploring the local street art scene while painting is also a popular option!

What do we need to provide for the workshop?

We've got you covered. All necessary materials are included in the package: professional spray cans in a rainbow of colours, protective gear (masks, gloves, suits), and the canvases or boards the kids will paint on. You just need to provide the enthusiastic artists and maybe some snacks and drinks for the break. We take care of all the setup and the messy cleanup afterwards!

What happens if it rains on the day?

Don't worry, the fun doesn't have to stop! If the weather looks a bit dodgy, we can often move the session to a sheltered outdoor area or an indoor space with professional-grade ventilation. If that’s not possible, we’ll work with you to reschedule the party for a sunnier day. We always keep a close eye on the Maldonado forecast to ensure your celebration goes off without a hitch.

Select your spot: Decide whether you want us to come to your garden or if you'd prefer to meet at one of Maldonado's cool urban art locations.
Artist arrival: Our professional graffiti artist arrives early to set up the "canvas zone" and prepare all the colourful spray cans and safety gear.
Safety first: We kit all the kids out in protective suits, gloves, and masks so they look the part and stay clean.
The basics: A quick, fun demo on how to use the cans, covering everything from thin lines to filling in big shapes.
Practice run: The children get some "wall time" to practice their new skills and get comfortable with the spray paint.
The masterpiece: Each child works on their own individual canvas or contributes to a giant collaborative birthday mural.
Grand finale: We take plenty of photos of the crew with their artwork, and the kids get to take their creations home!

Local culture

Maldonado is a city with a rich cultural vibe, perfectly situated between the historic charm of the city centre and the modern artistic energy of nearby Punta del Este. The local street art scene is growing, reflecting the vibrant spirit of Uruguay. From the colourful walls near the Cuartel de Dragones to the hidden gems in local neighbourhoods, inspiration is everywhere here.
